Applications are invited from qualified and experienced applicants for various teaching and non-teaching positions.
SUBJECT TEACHERS.
Teachers for various subject areas of specialization are required in the secondary school section: Mathematics. English Language. Physics. Business Studies. Cultural and Creative Arts. Physical & Health Education. Home Economics. History.
Overview of Job Description for Subject Teachers.
• Teach students in specialized subject areas in JSS and SSS sections
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans
• Assign and review home works
• Administer assessments and examinations
• Efficiently manage students, among other duties.
Requirements for Subject Teachers
• Minimum of B.Ed. in subject area of specialization.
• PGDE for applicants without B.Ed. in subject area of specialization.
• Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification and license.
• NYSC Certificate of National Service or letter of exemption
• At least 3 years post NYSC working experience.
• Excellent communication and emotional intelligence skills.
• Computer knowledge, skill and literacy
GUIDANCE COUNSELORS
Required to conduct individual/group counseling and mentorship sessions to advise and assist students and pupils with academic and vocational development, as well as work and cooperate with parents, teachers and external partners to identify and remedy behavioral problems.
Requirements for Guidance Counselors
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Guidance Counseling
• Professional membership of Counselors Association of Nigeria.
• NYSC Certificate of National Service or letter of exemption.
• At least 3 years post NYSC experience in an academic environment
• Excellent communication, listening and emotional intelligence skills.
• Leadership, decision-making, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Computer knowledge, skill and literacy
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Minimum of first degree/HND in Laboratory technology in any of the core science subjects and experience in maintaining chemical stores and lab instruments, processing lab samples and experimental set ups for post-primary exit science examinations.
REMUNERATION FOR ALL POSITIONS
The remuneration is competitive and negotiable and includes starting salary of ₦80K per month and enrolment into the school’s contributory pension scheme.
