FIVE things you should know about your Child’s Vision and Eye health:
1)From age 6 to 18,a child’s vision may change frequently or unexpectedly. That is why yearly check-ups are very necessary.
2)Vision problem can affect sports/academic performance. If visual skills are not adequate when playing a sport or learning,a child may perform poorly.Indications of visual difficulties may be consistently misspelling, not seeing the board clearly and failing texts/exam.
3)Routine Vision screenings are not enough.Infact they cannot be relied on to diagnose an eye or visual problem and sometimes fail to catch signs, symptoms and a wide variety of other conditions that only a comprehensive eye examination can capture.
