She also reminded all present at the Launch that Zainab is a renowned pharmacist with 30year experience.

Zainab Ujudud Shariff born in Rano local government of Kano state Attended Rano Day Primary School, Saint Louise Secondary School, School of Preliminary Studies, all in Kano and ABU Zaria and graduated with B.SC in Pharmacy

She has attended international courses and obtained certificates in Hospital Pharmacy, Chinese Traditional Medicine and Indian Ayuverda Medicine.

Mrs. Shariff, a renowned pharmacist with professional career spanning over 30 years, the pioneer Director of Traditional Complementary and Alternative Medicines (TCAM) Department, Federal Ministry of Health Headquarter, Pioneer MD of Nigerian Medicinal Plants Development Company (NMPDC), Resource Lecturer on TCAM, represented the country on TCAM at both national and international levels, producer and formulator of medicinal plants products, author of several books on medicinal plants and a fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, has great passion for plant medicines.

She also has to her credit, the record of the first lady to have written a series of this nature. She is the presenter of a popular television program called Nature's Pharmacy on the largest African Television Network known as the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.

Zainab Hamaga also called for more support from all authorities.
