Today marks an important milestone in our journey to advance gender equity in health.
Our Executive Director Oluwafunke Olayemi and team paid a successful advocacy visit to the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Family Health Department, (GASHE DIVISION) where we formally presented the “Advancing Gender Equity in Health: Prioritizing Women and Girls” leadership initiative.

We are grateful for the warm reception, constructive engagement, and strategic guidance received on strengthening women’s and girls’ leadership in health in alignment with Nigeria’s National Gender Policy.

This engagement reinforces our belief that sustainable health outcomes can only be achieved when women and girls are empowered not just as beneficiaries, but as leaders and change-makers within the health system.

We look forward to the next phase of collaboration and the implementation of the agreed next steps.
Together, we are building systems that work for everyone.

As we mark the 16 Days of Activism, we raise our voices for a world where every woman and girl lives free from fear, harm, and discrimination. Gender-Based Violence is not “normal” it is a violation of human rights.
This season, let us stand together to support survivors, challenge harmful norms, and demand accountability. Together, we can break the silence, end impunity, and build safer communities for all.

Today, Dcenturyvibes Global International Foundation (DGIF) proudly joined Links Human Empowerment Initiative, the lead organization, to successfully host a high-impact film screening and engagement session on Cybersecurity and Online Safety at the Federal College of Education, Zuba.

Invited as a key partner for this important program, DGIF was represented by our Founder and Executive Director, Ms. Oluwafunke Olayemi, who delivered inspiring opening remarks that set the tone for a transformative learning experience. The event brought together distinguished guests, institutional leaders, dedicated educators, and vibrant young students, all united in the collective mission to promote safer digital spaces.

This program formed an essential part of the broader activities leading into the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence UN Women , recognizing that today’s forms of violence often occur beyond physical environments. Digital violence, cyberbullying, online harassment, identity theft, and digital blackmail, remains a growing threat, particularly for young people, women, and girls.

Ms. Olayemi emphasized that digital safety is a human rights issue, and empowering students and educators with the knowledge to navigate online spaces safely aligns deeply with DGIF’s mission to advance dignity, equality, and protection for all.

More than just a film viewing, today’s screening was a strategic intervention. It sparked meaningful conversations, raised critical awareness, and equipped attendees with the tools needed to stay safe, responsible, and informed in an increasingly digital world.

DGIF extends heartfelt appreciation to Community Links Human Empowerment Initiative for inviting us to collaborate, to the management of the Federal College of Education Zuba for hosting, and to all partners working tirelessly to end violence, both offline and online.

Together, we are building a generation that understands that safety is a right, digital citizenship is a responsibility, and ending violence is a collective duty.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this impactful event.

In the spirit of collective impact and unified advocacy, Dcenturyvibes Global International Foundation (DGIF) is proud to partner with Community Links and Human Empowerment Initiative, alongside other youth-led and women-led organizations, to commemorate the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

This year’s global theme, “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls,” is more than a call to action, it is a reminder that as technology advances, so must our efforts to protect women and girls in digital spaces. Cyberbullying, online harassment, non-consensual image sharing, harmful content, and digital exclusion continue to silence the voices of many. Together, we are saying ENOUGH.

Through this partnership, we are strengthening advocacy, amplifying survivor voices, and promoting safe online communities where women and girls can thrive without fear. Our joint activities will focus on:

✨ Raising awareness on digital safety and online dignity
✨ Empowering young people and women with digital literacy and protection tools
✨ Creating platforms for meaningful conversations and storytelling
✨ Advocating for stronger systems, policies, and community responses to digital abuse

We believe that sustainable change happens when organizations unite with a shared vision. That is why this collaboration stands as a powerful symbol of solidarity, youth leading, women championing, and communities rising to end all forms of gender-based violence.

As we mark these 16 days, we reaffirm our commitment to building a world where every woman and girl is safe, seen, and supported, both offline and online.

Together, we UNiTE.
Together, we end digital violence.
Together, we create lasting change.
