RFPTN Zamfara Marks World Pharmacy Technicians Day with Heartfelt Humanitarian Outreach

​GUSAU, ZAMFARA STATE –

In a touching display of community commitment and social responsibility, the Reformed Forum of Pharmacy Technicians in Nigeria (RFPTN), Zamfara State Chapter, successfully concluded a humanitarian visit to the Gusau Orphanage Home as one of its activities on the occasion of World Pharmacy Technicians Day 2025.

​The visit, which was a highlight of the chapter's annual commemorative activities, saw members of the association donate a variety of essential drugs and generously share food items with the children residing at the home.

​Leaders of the RFPTN Zamfara State Chapter emphasized that the initiative goes beyond their primary role in healthcare delivery. "This act of kindness is a reflection of our deep-seated commitment not only to quality healthcare but also to community support and social responsibility," a spokesperson stated. "It was an emotional and fulfilling experience for all our members to witness the smiles and joy on the faces of these young orphans."

​The association reaffirmed its dedication to service, noting that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have a vital role to play in the broader welfare of society. The RFPTN Zamfara State Chapter plans to continue similar outreach programs throughout the year.

​The Chapter concluded the event with a message of collaboration: "Together, we can do more to support the vulnerable in our society."
