Same day and time last week, We (Mandela Washington Fellows) paid a courtesy visit to Peter Burba, the Public Affairs Officer of the United States Embassy Abuja.

It was a meeting that bordered on several issues affecting our society while emphasis was laid on our individual work, personal, professional development and future plans.

to international women’s day 2021 .
We wanted to do something different for the and the which coincided with each other but could not arrive at a conclusive decision.
One day I saw a video posted by my friend Okocha Nkem] Okocha Nkem founder of Mamamoni about 2 visually impaired women who are entrepreneurs and needed support for their business, we knew this is our project for International women’s day and flag off of world glaucoma week .

You see these 2 women eeeeh, they are true definition of ability in disability .
One recycles car tires to make beautiful glass tables while the other makes beautiful candles.

We are happy we are not about only saving sights we enrich lives too and breaking cycle of poverty.
