To a large extent, blindness has ravaged a lot of people irrespective of gender, especially in the rural areas, depriving them of the beauties of life.
The eyes are the most treasured sense and the light of the body, it is also the window to the world therefore we must keep it healthy.
Where some people can afford their treatment and for their households, some people in rural areas cannot and that is why Optimum healthcare came into existence.
The sole goal of this healthcare establishment is to reduce the prevalence of avoidable blindness, visual impairment and other health challenges that pose a threat to humanity most especially the poorest of the poor.

In fulfilment of these goals, Optimum healthcare has countlessly flagged off grassroots eye medical outreach, targeting school children, villages, aged people, poor and physically challenged people.
The founder, Dr. Onyedeke Munachi David has flagged off a free grassroots eye medical outreach for residents of Kwarra state, Naija state, Imo state e.t.c just to mention for a few.
The outreach which is in conjunction with Restore Sight Africa Initiative is expected to continue throughout the ten federal constituencies across the state in order to eradicate blindness and other eye challenges, especially among children and aged people.
It is true that we have gone around the state in a different capacity but there is still need to reach out once again so that people can enjoy life to its fullest.
