Endometriosis Is Not What You Think!

Endometriosis goes beyond “just painful periods.” It’s a chronic, systemic inflammatory disease that affects the whole body—not just the reproductive organs.

Here are some facts you should know:

âś… Endometriosis is a whole body disease
✅ It’s incurable, but excision surgery can help manage it
âś… It can lead to organ dysfunction, bowel blockage, and even lung collapse
âś… Lesions can fuse organs together and cause intense chronic pain
âś… Over time, these lesions may become fibrotic, increasing the severity of symptoms

Let’s raise awareness, support those affected, and push for more education and better healthcare for women living with endo.
