NORMAL O***Y SIZE

In a woman's life, o***y size have a great significance from maintaining a sound health of the reproductive system to escalating the chances of healthy pregnancy, ovaries play a crucial role.
The normal size of a healthy o***y is 30mm long,25mm wide, and 15mm thick. In other words, the normal o***y size is 3cm long, 2.5cm wide and 1.5cm thick.

In a healthy and normal sized o***y, the number of egg reserve are likely sufficient. However, the egg size also matters in conceiving because it has to be of the right size for fertility. The minimum egg size to get pregnant is 18-20mm(1.8-2.0cm) Otherwise, the normal egg size is 22 to 24mm(2.2-2.4cm). In case your o***y produces shrunk eggs, it will prevent conception.

By eating healthy food, regular workout , living a stress-free life , having a healthy body weight and connecting with a reliable gynecologist, you can certainly keep your ovaries healthy.

PLEASE NOTE: Take note of the normal and healthy sizes of the ovaries mentioned above so that when next you run a test, you will understand the result.

Best Regards!!

CAUSES OF S***M LEAKAGES

A couple with primary or secondary infertility suffering from s***m leakage issues after s*xual in*******se may have other factors hindering their efforts at trying to conceive. So, it’s important you consider the following factors that could debar you from conceiving and maximize your efforts:

1. Bacterial Infection:
A woman with a history of ge***al diseases like I hinted earlier could have some antibodies lurking inside her va**na. These antibodies mistakenly could attack the male s***m cells inadvertently, and in the process harming the s***m.

2. Dietary Choice:
A woman with thick cervical mucus can also suffer from the leakage of s***m from the va**na due to over-indulgence in foods with excess glucose content.

The reason behind this is that foods with high glycemic index increases the acidic pH level of the va**na and thickens the cervical (va**nal) fluid, whereas the s***m will require an optimal alkaline environment, and as a result this repels the male s***m leading to s***m leakages.

3. Retroverted Womb:
Women with tilted (or malpositioned) uterus have been found to suffer from s***m leakages from the va**na. This is because the normal uterus is in a anteverted anatomical position and more favourable for normal s***m movement into the womb, as against a retroverted womb that impedes the male semen from moving into the womb.

4: Blocked tube(s)
Blocked tube can be caused by infection or through surgical procedure and this can also cause s***m leakage.

Warm Regards !!

PROCESS AND PROCEDURES FOR IVF

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a complex series of procedures used to assist with fertility, prevent genetic problems, and help with the conception of a child. Below is a clear step-by-step outline of the typical IVF process and procedures:

**1. Initial Consultation and Testing**
- **Fertility evaluation** of both partners.
- Blood tests to check hormone levels (e.g., AMH, FSH).
- Ultrasound to assess ovarian reserve and uterus.
- Semen analysis for s***m count, motility, and morphology.
- Discussion of medical history and possible causes of infertility.

**2. Ovarian Stimulation (10–14 days)**
- **Hormonal injections** (e.g., FSH, LH) stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs.
- Frequent monitoring via **ultrasound and blood tests** to track follicle development.
- Medications like **GnRH antagonist or agonist** may be used to prevent premature ovulation.

**3. Trigger Shot**
- When follicles are mature, a **trigger injection** of hCG or another hormone is given to induce final egg maturation.
- Egg retrieval is scheduled approximately **36 hours later**.

**4. Egg Retrieval (Oocyte Aspiration)**
- Performed under **sedation** or anesthesia.
- A thin needle guided by ultrasound retrieves eggs from the ovaries.
- Same day, the male partner provides a **s***m sample**.

**5. Fertilization and Embryo Culture**
- Eggs and s***m are combined in the lab (conventional IVF) or via **ICSI** (intracytoplasmic s***m injection) if needed.
- Fertilized eggs are cultured for 3–5 days to form **embryos**.
- Embryos are monitored for quality and development.

**6. Embryo Transfer**
- Typically done on **Day 3 or Day 5** after retrieval.
- One or more embryos are transferred into the uterus using a thin catheter.
- A blood test for pregnancy (beta hCG) is done about **10–14 days later**.

**Optional Procedures**
- **Genetic testing (PGT-A/PGT-M):** For chromosomal normalcy or inherited disorders.
- **Embryo freezing (cryopreservation):** Extra embryos can be frozen for future use.
- **Assisted hatching:** To help embryo implantation.

**7. After Transfer and Follow-up**
- Progesterone support (via injections or suppositories) is continued.
- Monitor for signs of pregnancy or complications like **OHSS** (Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome).
- If pregnancy is confirmed, early ultrasounds are scheduled.
