Most people try to fix pain the wrong way.

There’s a simple 4-step process that actually works:

1. Inhibit – Relax the tight muscle (foam roll)
2. Lengthen – Stretch it
3. Activate – Wake up the weak muscle
4. Integrate – Train the full movement

In that order. Always.

Skip a step, and the problem comes back.

Nobody talks about this exercise. Everyone over 40 should be doing it.
I’ve trained hundreds of adults between 40 and 70.
And almost none of them were doing Farmer’s Carry when they came to me.
They were doing crunches with a bad back.
Running on knees that were begging them to stop.

Many people treat the hinge and squat as the same but they’re not.

🔑 Key difference:

Hip hinge: glutes & hamstrings (less stress on your spine when done right)

Squat: quads (needs good mobility—poor form can strain your lower back)
