🎉 *Congratulations on One Year of Visionary Leadership!*🎉
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Dr. (Mrs.) Faith Izibenua Zibs-Godwins
Honourable Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy, Bayelsa State

Today, we at *PANS NDU* proudly celebrate a woman whose heart beats for her people and whose vision has brought light to our coastlines.

In just one year, you’ve charted a bold course, giving life to policies, empowering riverine communities, strengthening marine safety, and building bridges across the waters that connect us.

From the "Fish Cities" to youth training, from stakeholder engagements to life-saving initiatives—you’ve not only led; you’ve served, inspired, and transformed.

Your journey reminds us that true leadership is felt, not just seen. Your work is proof that Bayelsa’s blue economy is not a dream—it is already becoming a reality.

We celebrate your courage.
We applaud your impact.
We stand with your vision.
And we say thank you, Ma’am, for choosing to lead with heart and purpose.

Here’s to greater heights and deeper waves of success!

📰 NEWS IN DETAIL*

1. Executive Council Meets Dean of Pharmacy
On Tuesday, 5th June, 2025, the 16th Executive Council, led by President Abraham Victor, paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The meeting focused on student welfare, introduction of executives, and faculty development. It lasted approximately two hours and was described as highly productive and engaging.

2. Election of 100-Level Course Representative
Congratulations to Mr. Sylvanus, who emerged as Class Governor following the recent elections. His emergence was attributed to his proven leadership qualities and dedication to supporting his coursemates’ academic and social transition into university life.

3. Clarification on 100-Level CGPA
It has now been officially confirmed that CGPA from 100 level will not be included in the cumulative GPA calculations once students enter 200 level in the Pharm D program. This change ensures a more accurate and fair assessment of students' professional performance.

4. Repetition Policy for Failed 100-Level Courses
Students are reminded of failure in any 100-level course (except GST) will result in repeating the entire academic session. Foundational courses are critical; students should approach them with utmost seriousness and diligence. This not to however downplay the importance of GST. Please pass it.

5. Online Result Discrepancies
Reports of multiple "F" grades appearing online — while departmental records indicate otherwise — have surfaced. Affected students are advised to visit the affected departments immediately for verification and guidance. Avoid panic; follow official procedures.

6. Result Upload and Complaint Window
PANS NDU will notify all students once the result portal is active. Students are strongly encouraged to check their results within two weeks of upload. Any issues must be reported promptly to the appropriate academic authorities.

7. Orientation Program for New Students
A comprehensive orientation program for 100-level and 200-level students is scheduled for this month. The Dean has directed that all students must be in attendance, and academic activities will be temporarily suspended during the event. Details on the date and venue will be communicated shortly.

8. Mandatory Library ID Cards for Exams
In a joint decision by the Dean and student executives, all students must possess a Library ID card for identification during classes, examinations, and official school functions.
PANSITES are to wear these cards.

Deadline for 100-level students: June 26th, 2025

Deadline for returning students (Trailblazers, Elites, Phenomenals, Erudites): July 8th, 2025

Your Library ID also serves as your pass for the orientation ceremony.

⚠️ Note: Any rights or privileges lost due to the absence of an official ID card will be considered the student's sole responsibility.

For inquiries, clarifications, or suggestions, kindly contact the office of the Public Relation or PANS NDU TV to be related to the appropriate quarters.

*CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION!*

From all of us at the 16th PANS Executive Council, we join the world in celebrating the joy, energy, and untapped greatness of every child.

Today, we're reminded that just like children, every PANSITE—regardless of the stress, ward rounds, or never-ending lectures—deserves love, care, quality education, and the freedom to dream big.

We believe that in this demanding journey of becoming pharmacists, we must not lose the child in us—the part that hopes, imagines, and believes in possibilities.

As young and vibrant professionals-in-training, we are committed to building a better future—not just for ourselves, but for the next generation. A future where children are safe, educated, heard, and empowered to lead.

💙 To every child—and to the child in every PANSITE—keep shining, keep dreaming, and never stop believing in your ability to make a difference.

PANS-NDU Rejoices Over the Safe Return of a Member’s Daughter
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS), Niger Delta University chapter, wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to all students who stood in solidarity with a fellow PANSITE, Mr. Ogini Thankgod, during a recent time of distress.

A few weeks ago, Mr. Thankgod's daughter was tragically kidnapped—a situation that sent waves of concern throughout our community. In response, the 400 Level class came together in a solemn and united prayer session, seeking divine intervention for her safe return.

We are pleased to share that, by the grace of God, our prayers were answered, and she was safely released earlier this week

The Executive Council only became aware of the situation a few days ago and has since been deeply moved by the strength and compassion shown by our members.

We commend the resilience and courage of Mr. Thankgod, who exemplified the unwavering love of a father, and we equally applaud the collective empathy shown by the 400 level class.

Furthermore, the Faculty of Pharmacy joins in expressing profound relief and joy over her safe return. The faculty also extends heartfelt comfort and support to the Ogini family, fully recognizing the emotional turmoil and financial strain this ordeal must have caused. We pray for continued healing, peace, and restoration for the entire family.

PANS-NDU remains committed to fostering a community of care, strength, and solidarity because In times of joy or trial For As Men of Honor, we join hands...

Happy Birthday, Pharm. Ogweh Happiness!

Here at PANS NDU, we not only remember — we celebrate, because we honor the foundation.

Your emergence as the 14th PANS President marked more than a leadership transition — it was a resurrection. When the association’s voice was silent and its presence fading, you brought it back. You didn’t just revive PANS; you laid the stones for a new era — one we, the current executives, walk in with pride and purpose.

Your tenure wasn’t just impactful — it was defining. From leading with courage to graduating with distinctions, and now standing tall as a pharmacist, your journey is both a challenge and a call: to lead, to serve, and to rise.

As we celebrate your birthday today, we celebrate our vision, grit and Legacy.

Thank you for showing us that leadership is not about titles, but transformation and service.

We wish you a new year full of greater achievements, deeper joy, and unshakable peace.

Happy Birthday, Sir!
With respect and admiration,
The PANS NDU Family.
