📜 *Principle No. 10: Fasting Attracts God’s Mercy and Brings Restoration
📖 “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” — Joel 2:12–13
✨ Meditation:
Fasting humbles the soul, disciplines the body, and realigns the heart toward God. When done with sincerity and repentance, it invites divine mercy and restoration. In Joel 2, Israel’s collective fasting moved the LORD to forgive, heal the land, and restore lost years (Joel 2:25).
When we fast in humility, God not only hears our cry but restores what was lost — health, hope, strength, and favor.
🙏 Prayer:
Abba Father, as I seek You with fasting and a sincere heart, let Your mercy search every part of my life — spirit, soul, and body; faith, fitness, and finances — and overflow upon me. Restore my strength, renew my joy, and redeem my wasted years by Your lovingkindness. Amen.
