SUNBURN (SKIN DAMAGE FROM SUN)
MANAGEMENT WITHOUT MEDICATION
Sunburn happens when the skin is exposed to too much sunlight, especially during hot weather.
Common signs:
• Red or darkened skin
• Skin pain or tenderness
• Warm skin
• Peeling after some days
Non-drug ways to prevent and manage sunburn:
✔ Avoid direct sun, especially between 10am–4pm
✔ Wear protective clothing (long sleeves, hats)
✔ Stay under shade when outdoors
✔ Drink plenty of clean water
✔ Take cool baths or use cool compress on the skin
✔ Avoid further sun exposure until skin heals
