WHAT A WOMAN SHOULD NOT DO WHILE SEEING HER MENSTRUAL FLOW
Menstruation is a natural part of life, but during this period, a woman’s body is more delicate and needs extra care. To stay healthy and comfortable, here are things you should avoid while on your period:
1️⃣ DON'T NEGLECT HYGIENE:
Always wash your hands before and after changing pads/tampons. Stay clean to stay confident and infection-free.
2️⃣ DON'T WEAR PADS FOR TOO LONG:
Keeping a sanitary pad on for many hours can cause infection and bad odor. Change every 4–6 hours.
3️⃣ DON'T OVERUSE PAINKILLERS:
It’s okay to take medicine for pain, but abusing them may harm your health. Use only as prescribed.
4️⃣ DON'T SKIP MEALS:
Hunger can make you feel weak, dizzy and worsen cramps. Eat balanced meals and drink enough water.
5️⃣ DON'T RELY ON ONLY SUGARY OR JUNK FOODS:
These can increase bloating and worsen mood swings. Go for fruits, vegetables and healthy snacks.
6️⃣ DON'T PUSH YOUR BODY TOO HARD:
Exercise is good, but avoid extreme workouts. Gentle movements like walking or stretching help relieve cramps.
7️⃣ DON'T IGNORE HEAVY OR UNUSUAL BLEEDING:
If your flow is too heavy, prolonged or painful beyond normal, see a doctor. It could be a sign of an underlying problem.
Menstruation is not a sickness, but your body needs special care during this time. Treat yourself with kindness and rest when you need to.
