I saw a video of a man praising his wife, and saying people should marry their best friends because his wife was in the kitchen cooking his favorite vegetable soup 24 hours after delivering their baby 😮
Wife material 1,000 yards no do pass this one.
It's their marriage and her body so I'm not going to say whether she did well or not.
Now, carrying a baby for 9 months is not moi moi. Delivering that child is not beans.
For the fact that a woman feels strong after delivery doesn't mean she's actually strong.
That's why most hospitals do not discharge women like that, they'll have to make sure you're really fit and you'll get enough rest at home before discharging you.
It's mostly government hospitals that discharge like the next day because of space. (Especially if the mother is fit)
My labour didn't start naturally and because I was still fine, not feeling anything but under observation in the hospital, I thought labour will actually be swift.
I kept telling the lady we shared a room together "sorry" cux she kept on tapping herself and trying not to scream. I could see that she was in severe pain while I was busy pressing my phone and telling her sorry.
I was finally induced and 4 hours after that, you need to see crase😪
After I delivered, I had tear, I was stitched and that one was another level of pain entirely.
I couldn't sit properly for weeks. I kept on complaining of the pains even after I've been discharged.
Like the pain was affecting my brain.
One week after, like play, I was rushed back to the hospital and I spent some days there with my baby before I was finally discharged.
Even after being discharged, I was still visiting the hospital for checkups. For myself o, not my baby.
I even saw a video of one who just gave birth and prepared for her wedding same day (una de take risk oo)
Aunty that just delivered, stop forming Mohammed Ali and allow yourself heal properly, rest well and be pampered.
That food you're rushing to cook, you'll still cook it when you fully recover.
Now dear men, delivering a baby takes a whole lot. Even if that woman tells you that she's strong, please be human enough to tell her to rest.
Let her only job for at least some weeks be to breastfeed the baby.
Marry your friend that you're his friend too o. E get why.
