As we come to the end of Sarcoma Awareness Month, this is a reminder about one of the rarest and most complex forms of cancer to exist. Sarcomas are a complex type of cancer that can trick the body into thinking the tumor is merely normal tissue. They develop in connective tissue, cartilage, bone, fat, and muscle.

Celebrated every year on 28th of July, aims to raise awareness of viral hepatitis, an inflammation of the liver that causes severe liver disease and liver cancer.

The theme for 2025: "Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down" calls for urgent action to dismantle the financial, social and systemic barriers – including stigma – that stand in the way of hepatitis elimination and liver cancer prevention.

Chronic hepatitis B and C silently cause liver damage and cancer – despite them being preventable, treatable, and, in the case of hepatitis C, curable. The theme emphasizes the need to simplify, scale up, and integrate hepatitis services – vaccination, safe injection practices, harm reduction and especially testing and treatment – into national health systems.

Sarcoma Awareness Month takes place every year throughout the month of July. In 2025, the event will run from July 1st to July 31st, providing an opportunity for individuals, organisations, and communities across the globe to participate in events, share information, and show their support.

Sarcoma is often called the “forgotten cancer” because of its rarity and the lack of public understanding compared to other cancers. Raising awareness is crucial because it leads to earlier diagnoses, improved treatments, and more support for research efforts. By highlighting the unique challenges faced by sarcoma patients and their families, this observance encourages compassion, action, and hope for better outcomes in the future.

World Population Day is an annual event observed every year on the 11th of July to spread awareness not only about the increasing population and its impact on society, nations, and the environment but also about educating the public to control it.

The day came into existence when the world population reached 5 billion in 1987, intending to address the public interest and educate the people about the population issues like the benefits of family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health, human rights, etc. The Day was first marked on 11 July 1990 in more than 90 countries.

World Population Day 2025 is focusing on the largest-ever generation of young people. The theme, “Empowering young people to create the families they want in a fair and hopeful world”, calls for ensuring youth have the rights, tools, and opportunities to shape their futures.

Concierge Medical Services...

Concierge medicine is an enhanced relationship between you and your primary care provider. Imagine having your very own clinician network that you can rely on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with same-day or next-day appointments. Even if you are out of town, you can still contact a physician via phone or email. No more fitting into your clinician’s schedule - now, your clinician’s schedule with accommodate your needs. Wouldn’t that be heaven on earth?

One of the major advantages is more personalized care and as a result, more timely preventive care, when most diseases are caught early and interventions can prevent more serious problems. Other benefits include ease in making appointments(both hospital visits and home calls) and renewing prescriptions, paying for better access to the physician, expedited testing and results reporting, e.t.c. Concierge practice also offers personal training session and healthy meal planning to registered members.
