Bishop Ezeokafor Commissions Renovated Facilities at Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital
The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, has commissioned the newly renovated General Out-Patients Department (GOPD) and Maternity Wards at Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital, Awka.
The event which held on Friday 18 July 2025 at the hospital premises marks the hospital’s efforts to enhance healthcare delivery for residents of Awka and surrounding communities. The upgraded facilities are expected to provide a more comfortable and efficient environment for patients, pregnant women, and new mothers.
Owned and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Awka, Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital is a mission hospital known for offering 24/7 services across a wide range of specialties including general and specialist consultations, surgery, maternal and child health, dialysis, radiology, Dental care, emergency care, among others.
Speaking during the ceremony, the hospital’s MD/CEO, Rev. Fr. Innocent Affusim, expressed gratitude to Bishop Ezeokafor for his unwavering support and commitment to quality healthcare.
