It is now about 44hours post AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccination.

I feel good this morning. No pain at injection site. I had some malaise yesterday afternoon. I took paracetamol (2tablets) plus ibuprofen (400mg) when I returned from a trip to Nnewi Campus around 2pm.

I ate well, slept well and started my early morning routines strong.

Conclusion: There is nothing to fear about the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. The benefits outweigh the risks. Do not listen to nay sayers or conspiracy theorists.

Go, get your jab!

And always thank God for giving man knowledge out of His manifold Wisdom. He is the Lord that healeth you. None of the pestilences shall come near you in Jesus Mighty Name. Prof Ike Uzochukwu

Good morning. This is about 20hrs post-AstraZeneca vaccination.

I left the Vaccination Clinic yesterday, visited the University Medical Centre to inspect some new equipment in the molecular laboratory.

I left for Agulu Campus where I fully participated in a Faculty meeting. After some other engagements, I was back to the State Capital at about 4pm.

The only side effect, which is still there this morning, is pain at the injection site.

I ate well, slept well, woke up to my usual routines in God's presence.

I will go out again today, by God's Grace, do my assignments and continue to give God Glory for the gift of science and knowledge to mankind.
