The medicines you take to feel better should not make you feel worse. At Queen Amina Medical Integration, this belief is at the heart of everything we do. That is why we are so proud to have our dedicated team member complete a comprehensive Pharmacovigilance training organized by the NAFDAC Bauchi State Office!

This training empowers us to go further in our mission: to ensure every person in our community has access to right, qualitative, and safe drugs.

But we can not do it alone. Have you or a loved one ever experienced a unexpected reaction to a medication? It is a scary feeling, and too often, people suffer in silence.

That is why we are launching an ambitious new plan: The Community Pharmacovigilance Ambassador Initiative (PVAI). We will be training passionate young people from right here in Azare, to be the eyes and ears on the ground. These ambassadors will be equipped to:

1. Guide community members on how to use the Medsafety App in order to report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and Adverse effects following immunization (AEFIs).

2. Educate neighbors on identifying fake drugs

3. Serve as a vital link between you and regulatory bodies.
