We are super excited to celebrate our partner company eTrash2Cash for winning the 2024 Prince Talal International Prize for Humanity taking home the Third Prize in Madrid, Spain. This is a very huge achievement, and we are truly proud of them.

For us at www.queenaminami.org, eTrash2Cash is more than a partner. They are our backbone. After collecting plastic waste from our communities, we crush and supply it to them and they have never stopped believing in us from day one. Their support has played a major role in our growth, our confidence, and our ability to keep pushing forward.

This win is well deserved. It is a victory for the entire recycling and sustainability family in Nigeria, Africa and the whole world. We celebrate you today and always.

Today, we celebrate two important global days that remind us of the power of people and the value of our planet.

International Volunteer Day recognizes the countless individuals who give their time, skills, and energy to make communities stronger. We appreciate every volunteer who has supported our work, stood with us in the field, and helped drive positive change.

Today is also World Soil Day. Healthy soil means healthy food, healthy communities, and a healthier future. We all depend on it, and we all have a role in protecting it.

What an inspiring evening it was as we gathered over 70 passionate NAPPMED Katagum members at the Queen Amina Innovation Center, Azare, for a powerful session on Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety, in partnership with NAFDAC.

Muhammad abdullahi had the honor of facilitating the training, where they discussed how every Patent and Proprietary Medicine Vendor (PPMV) plays a role in ensuring the safety and quality of medicines in our communities. From interactive case discussions to practical demonstrations, members actively engaged and committed to reporting adverse drug reactions and promoting responsible medicine use.

On October 20th, our Co-founder, youth engagement and Operations Officer, joined other brilliant members of the Young People’s Action Team (YPAT) at the Generation Unlimited Nigeria Steering Committee Meeting held at MTN Towers, Lagos. It is a powerful gathering hosted by UNICEF Nigeria.

Together with partners like , IHS Towers, GIZ, , PwC, , World Bank Group, , Microsoft, OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT, Girls Guides Association, IOM - UN Migration, Cisco, , and many others. The conversation centered on one truth:

It is time to move young people from LEARNING to EARNING, and from AWARENESS to ACTION.

Muhammad represented us (Trash4Health Innovation) showcasing how we are turning something very common as plastic waste into access to healthcare and the most needed and essential lifesaving medicines for families in under served communities.

His voice echoed the message of Pillar 3 which is Youth Engagement, Progress & Commitments, reminding everyone that when young Nigerians are trusted, mentored, and supported, we do not just dream of change, we build it.
