When last did you check your blood pressure?

29/03/2024

Dear women, have you done your self breast examination today? Or

Beast screening using Mammography and Ultrasonography .

👍Mammography is a dedicated radiographic technique for imaging the breast, the resultant images are known as mammograms.

👍It can be used for screening ( when performed on asymptomatic women )and diagnostic (when performed on symptomatic patients or to work up an abnormality found on screening. ) purposes.

👍 The goal of Mammography is the early detection of breast cancers and breast related diseases.

👍Breast cancers has become a global burden, it is now the most common female cancer amongst women in many countries overtaking cervical cancer that used to be the most common.

👍 Studies have shown that although breast cancers affects both the Caucasians higher than the blacks ,outcome is however very devastating amongst the blacks and this has been attributable to late detection and presentation of the blacks caused by lack of early screening.

👍Screening and early detection saves lives!.
Mammography uses low energies xrays thus relatively safe and has the advantage of detecting very small cancers at least 2 to 3 years before it can be felt.

👍Thus the advocacy for breast screening for every woman particularly above the age of 40yrs or 35yrs for high risk women ( women with family history).

👍Ultrasonography is the most common adjunct imaging technique used in breast imaging, it is typically used for further evaluation of masses found on mammograms or palpable masses that may/ maynot be seen on mammograms.

👍It is very safe since it does not use ionizing radiation and can be used on younger women with denser breast texture.

👍 It is advised that women by the age of 40yrs should start routine mammographic screening, ages 45 to 54yrs should have yearly screening, while those 55yrs and above should get screened every 2 yrs or may wish to continue with yearly mammographic screening .

*DEAR MEN!!!!!!!*

*After years of working as a medical doctor in the hospital, especially while managing men in male medical ward, I can tell you 2 things I've observed.........*

1.... As a married man, the only person who's going to be by your bedside when you are sick is your wife. I repeat, your wife......On rare occasions, your kids will be there. For a while though! Only your wife can leave whatever she's doing to be with you.
Your siblings may come and go, your friends may visit, but your wife is the only one who will wholeheartedly stay with you throughout your ordeal in the hospital.

2..... The way you treated your wife when you were healthy always shows in the way she will treat you when you are sick.

I've seen this pattern play out daily. You see those wives who are being treated well doing everything they can to make their husbands get well. They disturb the health care practitioners, they cry, they rake, they pray, they go above and beyond to make their husbands get better.

Well, the reverse is the case with the abused wife. Her laissez faire attitude will be topnotch. You will sleep and wake up in your poo. You'll starve. She's just staying there for staying sake. Some will leave you in the hospital for like 2 or 3 days before returning from wherever they went to unwind.
You will report to your people, they'll yell on the phone and still nothing will happen. One told her in-laws to come and cut her hands and place it on her husband's buttocks to clean his poo.
You will do nothing. Your family will do nothing.
You will be helpless.

I know you must be thinking that you can revenge if she's the one on sick bed but No you can't.......
Why? Because you won't be the one taking care of her during her time in the hospital. You can't even bring yourself to sleep in the hospital.

You'll employ the services of other people to do the job for you. Her people too will be there for her. Your children will be hovering around her.

You think I'm lying? Try walking into any hospital, compare the male wards and the female wards.
You will have a clear understanding of what I'm talking about.

Whenever I hear men brag about cheating and supremacy, I laugh.

Do not dare your woman. For you'll pay through your nose when the time comes.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Treat your women better.

My medical counsel for all of you this Xmas and new year!!

1. *If you can't afford NEW CLOTHES, wear the ones you already have. It's JESUS' birthday and not yours. You mustn't 'out dress' the celebrant.*

2. *If you can't afford the kind of FOOD you want, eat what you have and move on. If you don't tell people what you ate, no one knows. 'belle no get show glass'.*

3. *If you don't have the means to TRAVEL, stay* *where you are. JESUS wasn't born in your village* *afterall. And your village isn't the appointed place for His birthday celebration* *either. Any villager who is desperately bent on seeing you, should come look for you where you are,*
*Take life easy and don't stress yourself.*
*DON'T ENVY ANYONE*

*THANKS AND* *COMPLIMENT OF THE SEASON* 😘😘😘😘😘
*MEMORY CARES*

A 78-year-old 👵man 👨collapsed and was rushed to our hospital 🏥. He was given oxygen to support him for 48 hours. After a while, he was better. So, we gave him his bill of #500,000, and when he saw the bill, he started crying 😢.

He was told not to cry 😢because of the bill. But the man 👨said, "I'm not crying 😢 because of money 💰, I can pay all the money 💰, I'm crying 😢 because for only 48 hours of oxygen use, I have to pay #500,000, but I have been breathing the air of God for 78 years, I never pay anything, do you know how much I owe him?
Some patients and nurses lowered their heads and burst into tears 😢," now, to you who read this, you breathe air free from God without any price to pay for years.
please take just few minutes right now to thank God for the gift of life all these years, instead of complaining.. God has done great things for you more than you can ever imagine or think.

Happy new month people

My candid advice to everyone.
-------------------------------------------------
Please take things easy, as fuel is now almost #700 per a litter,Gas N1200 per Kg and put your total trust in God (not man).
The Rate at which People Just die all of a Sudden is becoming alarming.
Most Nigerians know
That we are in a
Period of Frustrations,
Depressions
Confusion
Terror,
Stress,
And the like.
All these increases has increased the Risk of High Blood Pressure
Which also leads to Heart Failure or Attack.
Of course, we expect sudden death,
Which is now Rampant.
Please, move away from being provoked easily
By your Children,
Friends,
Colleagues,
Superiors,
Subordinates,
Partners,
Husbands and Wives.
Avoid reacting to things aggressively.
Isolate yourself from Disturbances.
Avoid too much thinking
When there is no Money
Or food at home,
Just stay cool and calm.
If you don't attend that wedding this time because of Aso-ebi, in nine months, you will attend the child naming ceremony. Don't borrow to buy that aso-ebi.
Avoid the exchange of words with People
At Home, Markets, Offices, etc.
Always check your BP,
Take your Drugs,
Follow Instructions,
And Exercises.
Go to see your Doctor immediately if you feel changes in your body,
Especially your Chest.
Stay in Peace.
And never fight anyone.
Don't be anxious about anything, instead pray without ceasing
Your Health is far better than any worldly thing.
Beware of Transferred Aggression.
Stay alive for yourself
Stay alive for your family
Stay alive for your glorious tomorrow
We only have one life to live,
Stay alive for me, you may help me tomorrow.
Don't die before your time
This phase will come to an end.
It shall be well...🌸😄😄
God bless us all...
My candid counsel to everyone .

❤️❤️.
