*Congratulatory Message*

According to a book written in the year 1987, Plato a great philosopher opined that “By maintaining a sound system of education and upbringing, you produce citizens of good character, and citizens of sound character, produce in turn children better than themselves and better able to produce still better children in their turn.

Today marks the beginning of a new life. Today is when the Federal Government of Nigeria will release and relief you of your service year which lasted for one year.

On this note, I congratulate all Batch A stream 2 Corp Members who has served diligently and effortlessly in National Youth Service Corps, Calabar, Cross Rivers State. Through the umbrella of your Community Development Service Group (DrinkIQ CDS) you have been recognized not just in the state but in Nigeria at large.

I use this medium to share this few advice as a graduate and Ex-Corper to enable you succeed in life:
*1 Identify and solve Community-based problems, it can also be t through your businesses*

* 2 learn new skills and empower members of the society*

* 3 Promote and revitalize democratic values, practices and developing responsible community leadership through personal study.*

* 4 Education should be your no1 priority as Plato have said*

Once again I say congratulations 🍾. May the Almighty God see you through and grant you your heart desires.

*On Tuesday, the 28th of February 2023, the DRINKIQ CDS GROUP presented 10 SET OF PLASTIC CHAIRS AND A BENCH to the STATE COORDINATOR CROSS RIVER STATE IN PERSON OF ZEMOH ANDREW.*

*This was done at the NYSC Secretariat open space by 10:56AM Nigeria 🇳🇬 time. The Coordinator commended the DRINKIQ group most especially to PRINCE LEONARD (DRINKIQ supervisor). The coordinator was really impressed and encouraged the DRINKIQ group to keep on the good work!!!*
*He offered a brief prayer and ushered blessings to the Batch A Stream 2 Corps Members of DrinkIQ CDS*

*DRINKIQ CDS SENSITIZATION EXERCISE*

_Held on the 14th February, 2023 at WAPI Secondary School: Calabar Municipal._

The School assembly started before 7:30 while we were all gathered waiting for further instructions from the school authorities.

Immediately after the devotion we were called upon for presentation
3 members of the group addressed the students which include:
The PRO
The SECRETARY
and Corper Rachael.
The PRO came up first; he outlined the definition of drink, Various types of drink. He deliberated majorly on carbonated drink and its effects on our health.

The mic was then handed over to the Secretary who talked on ALCOHOLIC DRINK in it entirety.

* Definition of alcohol
* kinds of alcohol
* Side effects of alcohol and damage it causes.

The last speaker CORPER RACHAEL talked on the best kind of drink that has no adverse effect which is water.

They spoke excellently and questions were further asked by the students which signified that they were really focused.

We must say that the number of students in the school is quite encouraging and the responses too.

DrinkIQ CDS Meeting; Sent Forth Ceremony, Election and Induction held today the 31st of January, 2023 at NYSC Secretariat conference hall was indeed successful.
*Today, Gifts, Award and Certificates were issued out to Batch A Corp members

The President presented the listed packages on behalf of the DribkIQ Supervisor

DrinkIQ CDS Meeting; Sent Forth Ceremony, Election and Induction held today the 31st of January, 2023 at NYSC Secretariat conference hall was indeed successful.*
*The pictures above shows the process of election and the winners for the position of the Secretary and Financial Secretary. Three persons where selected for the position of the Secretary and Fin-Sec included but after the voting was carried out, Udeh Sandra (Batch 😎 emerged as Financial Secretary While Akinsanya Ridwan D. (Batch C) emerged as secretary. They were sworn-in after brief orientation was given and proper handover was done.
