Today, the LHERC 3.0 Steering Committee members had a fruitful meeting with Dr. Omonisi, one of the judges from the last LHERC Conference and a key supporter for the upcoming edition, he is a visiting professor in Liberia. The meeting was held in the A.M Dogliotti College of Medicine Conference Room.

The meeting was centered on the followings:

• Exchange Opportunities for Students
• Information on Conferences outside of Liberia that students can attend to widen their knowledge
• Continues Mentorship, Dr. Omonisi has seen the need and will dedicate his time to provide continued mentorship to students as they strive through their educational journeys, especially in the area of Research.
• And most importantly the upcoming LHERC Conference, which is intended to promote an inter-professional approach to contemporize healthcare education through research skills development and to bring together emerging healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals in order to brainstorm ideas on adapting an evidence-based, research-oriented, and inter-professional approach to raise the standard of healthcare in Liberia and Africa”

Thanks to Dr. Omonisi and a big thanks to our Chairperson of the LHERC 3.0 in person of Chalaty A. Young for always clearing the path.

We are grateful for a successful first working session.
Yesterday, our energetic team gathered at Fuzion D'Afrique Bar & Grill located on 14th Street to plan and organize the upcoming LHER Conference.

We had a very fruitful discussion on issues surrounding the conference. Thanks to all steering committee members for the dedication of their time. More great things are ahead, keep following as we bring you updates regarding this year’s Conference which will be more extraordinary.
