- Mosquitoes transmit diseases that cause over 1 million deaths worldwide each year.
- Malaria alone affects over 200 million people annually.
- Mosquito-borne diseases can be prevented with simple measures like using insecticide-treated bed nets, wearing protective clothing, and eliminating standing water around homes.
