World Diabetes Day 2025
It is a day for global awareness campaign to educate people about diabetes, its symptoms, and management. In respect of commemorating the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who discovered insulin.
Today, As a Nutritionist, I want to emphasize some healthy eating and lifestyle habits in preventing and managing diabetes.
—Eat a balanced diet rich in whole foods(natural organic foods) and proteins.
— Make vegetables your best friend.
— Take small slices of fruits
— Stay hydrated and run away from sugary drinks
— Engage in regular physical activity
— Monitor and manage your blood sugar levels
