WORLD MALARIA DAY

Theme: Zero Malaria Begins with Me!

In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, WHO still marks this day as malaria could predispose one to the virus.

Hence, here are some tips through which we can PREVENT this deadly disease:

*⃣ Make sure you wear clothes that cover you properly, especially if you are going to damp areas where mosquitoes can breed.

*⃣ Apply insect repellents on your skin and even on clothes.

*⃣ In times when malaria incidence is high in your surroundings, sleep under a net.

*⃣ Anyone who exhibits signs of malaria should meet a doctor (or pharmacist in case there is no doctor around).

*⃣ Lastly, there has been a recent discovery of a Malaria Vaccine. It's administration has commenced in Malawi! Hopefully, it'll be accessible to us all In the time to come.
