Behind the Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo challenge By
Gentleman MIKE EJEAGHA

In the Animal kingdom, the king's daughter refuses to marry the suitors that came for her hand in marriage, she had a big fantasy of riding across the village on an elephant. So she said that any suitor that brings a life elephant to her will have her as a wife, so the king announces to all the animals in the kingdom and all of them were so discouraged about it but the tortoise went to the king and said "I will marry your daughter, I will bring a life elephant and have her as my wife.

I came before to marry her but you people chased me away but this time, I will marry her, so he also proceeded to the elephant house because the tortoise and the elephant were good friends, so he went to the elephant house and said "The king of my village will be having an OFALLA in the next two days and he said that you will be the chief of the occasion.

An OFALLA is the biggest festival in Igbo land, so if any traditional ruler should invite you, you are highly honoured. So the elephant was so delighted and enthusiastic to be there already, tortoise told the elephant "The king instructed me to come and pick you in the next two days so ready.
The day arrived and the tortoise didn't make it early to the elephant so the elephant was bit pi**ed off like you said I'll be the chief of the occasion but you came late to pick me " the sun is already setting down, so the tortoise told elephant don't worry we will get there on time. Tortoise was walking slowly the elephant was not comfortable with that he said, please can you hurry up let's get there on time.

Then the tortoise requested please can I climb on your back so that you can carry me along, so I will get there on time. The elephant agreed so when the tortoise climbed on the back of the elephant he requested again, Please can I tie this rope in my hand around your neck so that I can be stable on your back " the elephant agreed too, so they started the journey on getting to the palace the tortoise started singing.
"Nnam Eze akpata m Enyi" (My king I have brought the elephant)
So the elephant replied " Nwa mbe isi n' ikpata onye? ( Who are you taking to the king? ) What are you trying to say, the tortoise replied
Asi m ani ya Dube enyi chebe enyi" Enyi n' aga na anyi so gi na azu.

I told the land to guard you, Mr. elephant proceed we are strongly behind you. That means you miss understood me. I was simply telling the land to guide your feet and keep you safe. Mr. elephant proceed we are strongly behind your back, you are going to be the chief of the occasion. So the elephant was deceived" he agreed and they got to the palace, the tortoise handed over the rope that was tied around the elephant to the king and the significance of the rope tied around the elephant means that the tortoise has the ownership and dominance over the elephant.

Now in IGBO LAND if you are presenting any life animal to someone there must be a rope around the animals neck, to show true ownership of the animal and dominance too.
So that was how the tortoise deceived his friend elephant, and by the time the elephant noticed what was going on it was too late because the kingdom had already captured the elephant so the king handed over the daughter to the tortoise and the elephant became the beast of Burden, they were riding on the elephant across the village.

END OF THE STORY
So in this story, Mike Ejeagha was trying to derive moral lesson which means "Be careful of the friends you go places with because some of them cannot be trusted.

Well! Well!! Well!!! πŸ€”

"*SLAVERY OF MEN BY WOMEN*

Every Man irrespective of who they are must read the book by a German writer Esther Villar In her book "The Manipulated Man"

This book has caused outrage and *hostile criticism* from women, it explains how women since the earliest times have manipulated men and turned them into their slaves, they have *pretended* to be the oppressed s*x while in the real sense they are the oppressors.

She explains how a woman manipulates a man skillfully by steps like *courtship* and finally *marriage* , hence the saying β€œ *a man chases a woman until SHE catches him”* .

In her book she explains how the man is *tricked* to care for the woman all his life and her offspring.

He rolls the stone like *Sisyphus* and in turn gets rewarded by a few minutes of s*xual pleasure.

We can, by observing Esther Villars assertions that a man is a slave of his desires and the woman uses and has used it for thousands of years as a stick and carrot to keep the man chasing vanity and commit his life to serving her.

She goes ahead to explain the *rivalry of women* , how each woman feels the powerful urge and need to own a male for herself.

Like a *slave owner* she detests any move the man would make to offer his services to another woman. She uses all means to keep the man to herself and her offspring alone.

Esther Villar's sentiments are captured by Nigerian Poet, critic and writer, Chinweizu Ibekwe in his book, β€œThe Anatomy of Female Power” (AFP) and Will Farrel's, β€œThe Predatory Female”.

They all push the theory that all societies are matriarchal and not patriarchal as we are pushed and forced to believe. *Matriarchy has ruled not through brawn but wits and tricks;* women feigning weakness to be protected etc. Thus the male becomes the most exploited s*x in human history, (in wars the man is always ready to die for the woman; he has been trained to do that).

Chinweizu calls the idea of *dating* and *courtship* , *training* , like that of a horse. It is during this time that a woman having kept the man on a leash by denying him s*x and getting him addicted to her by false charms, trains and breaks him to whatever she wants him to become.

The marriage celebration becomes a celebration for the *woman and her friends,* and they all congratulate her for having succeeded in getting herself a *slave* .

A man on that *wedding* day waves goodbye to his independence and his coalition of males and commits himself to a *Sisyphean* life, rolling the stone, an act he cannot abandon having *society* and the *government* checking on him and always ready to *jail* , *shame* or *exile* him for absconding his duties of slavery.

Thus the government and society helps the woman in keeping her *slave*(man) in check.

Chinweizu gives a narration of how women are trained by older matriarchs to *tame* men. He explains how a man is trained to rely on women by his own mother.

A man is *shamed for cooking* for himself and other domestic chores by his *own mother* who is an agent of the global matriarchal rule.

By getting the man to hate *domestic* works and having it enforced by culture which warns men against going into the kitchen, doing *laundry* etc.

The mother trains his son for the woman who will captivate him and when the time comes she takes hold of the man's stomach and by getting the man addicted to her body she holds him by the two, in *bed* and in the *kitchen* .

With those two weapons she manipulates the man and turns him into her plaything.

In the β€œMyth of the Male Power”, Esther Villar's β€œA Man's Right to the Other Woman”; β€œThe Polygamous S*x”, the authors of those books challenge the narrative that men oppress women, and by detailed research across African, Western and Eastern both in ancient and modern societies, the authors unravel the hidden power of the ruthless matriarchal power that rules the world.

Also Helen E. Fisher did anthropological research of ancient human societies and wrote the book "The S*x Contract, The evolution of human behaviour" 1982. She too came to the conclusion that Marriage is a selfish creation of a Woman, where she uses s*x to manipulate a man to take care of her and her offspring. Other male animals do not carry the same burden and responsibility.

*Presidents* , *Emperors* and *Kings* are all puppets of the matriarchy forces that rule the World by pulling the strings from behind the curtains

A noble piece which is a must read for every Man under the globe...".

Theresa Onuoha is a renowned Nigerian highlife musician, dancer, and composer. She is the founder of the famous Egedege Dance Group. With various titles to her name, such as The Queen of Culture, Queen of Unubi, Queen of Egedege Music, and Onu Ejiri Mara Mba, she has made a significant impact in the music world.

Born on January 9, 1942, in Unubi, Anambra State, Nigeria, Theresa inherited her passion for music from her father, a local egwu ekpili musician and traditionist who had gained fame in his village.

Theresa began singing at a young age and released her first album at the age of 34 in 1976. Some of her popular albums include "Oba egwu," "Onwanwa mu na chimo," "Ogene Ekwubego mu na onye ga-agba egwu," and "Ebelebe egbuonu O." In 1985, she formed the Egedege Dance group. The name "Egedege" derives from the her Igbo native slang for richness and bravery, reflecting the dance's status as a cultural classic performed exclusively in royal or affluent households. The dance group travels throughout Eastern Nigeria and beyond, performing at grand occasions such as weddings, festivals, and funerals of wealthy people.

Theresa's unique Ogene melody, ancient yet melodious voice, and stylish Egedege dance have set her apart in the music industry. In October 2021, she was featured in the song "Egedege" by Larry Gaaga alongside Flavour N' abania and Phyno.

Theresa is married to Godwin Igboebisi, and she has two grown sons. It is worth mentioning that she also had a previous relationship with Chief Pericoma Mezuo Okoye, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and traditionist, and they have a child together named Speed Darlington (Akpi). Speed Darlington is now a singer, dancer, and songwriter based in the United States.
