Tomorrow's election is a fight for our lives

As a Health Care Practitioner who have worked in the Health sector for Years, I can categorically testify how the health sector has crumbled under this current administration.

The number of government hospitals that are now dysfunctional.

The number of deaths we record daily because our health system has failed.

How this government has failed to invest in health care and has jettisoned the health and wellbeing of the masses.

How innocent children have died. Their crime? Born in Nigeria.

I can testify how Health practice hit a nadir in this current government.

How being a Healthcare worker is just a way to transition to UK, US , Canada and more because the government has failed to realise it's health care workers are one of the pillars of survival.

If you want to get angry at this APC government , Just take your time and Google Nigeria's Health indices

Type Neonatal mortality rate
Type Maternal mortality rate
Type Perinatal mortality rate

Just type any Death rate in Nigeria and see how lives has been lost.

If you don't choose to vote out this government then I'm sorry the reality hasn't dawn on you.

Nigeria can work. We need a new mind. We need a new blood. We need a wine in our Jar.

A Vote for Peter Obi is a step forward in that direction. This is coming from a place of fact.

Look at all the Presidential aspirants, None of them deemed it fit to put Healthcare in their agenda. Only Peter Obi was passionate about that.

How cruel. How heartless
Oh. I'm not surprised. They don't use the hospitals. They fly abroad & of course we Nigerians are still there.

You need to be in the Health sector to see the mess that this APC government has done to innocent lives.

Go down fact lane how see what Peter Obi for Health care to an ordinary state during his tenure.

Imagine replicating this on a large scale

A vote for Peter Obi is a vote for sustainable Healthcare.

A vote for Peter Obi is a vote for us to say Yes we want to be able to have emergencies & make it out alive.

We can do it. Medical tourism needs to end

1: What's the medical explanation of what happened here?
CHIMERISM
Chimerism is a genetic condition in which one person carries TWO different sets of DNA.

It happens naturally when a twin DIES in the womb in the EARLY stages of pregnancy and the cells are absorbed by the alive twin.
Who is then born with two sets of DNA.

Normally, the immune system would attack the foreign DNA. But since it happened so early in conception, the immune system is ADAPTED to recognize it as self.

Now the individual carrying the 2 different sets of DNA has them in different parts of the body.

For Example, a bag containing groundnut and tiger nuts. If you tear the bag from one place, you might see groundnut. If you tear the bag from another place, you might see tiger nuts.

In this case, the foreign DNA he absorbed at conception are in his testicles meaning his s***m cells contain his twin's DNA and not his.

2. Does that mean he can’t father a child himself?
I think it depends on how much of his twin's DNA are in his s***m cells.
Technically, he fathered the child. The s***m cells came from him But they are just not his DNA.

3: Is it possible for the same person to have two different Genotypes ??

They'll most probably have the same genotype since they are twins.

Does Plan B (Morning After pills) work after 120 hours?

WIDAL TEST DOESN'T DIAGNOSE TYPHOID FEVER

The Widal test is JUST one method that may be used to help make a PRESUMPTIVE diagnosis of typhoid fever.
It only detects the antibodies against the O & H antigens of Salmonella typhi and against the H antigens of Salmonella paratyphi A&B BUT doesn't really show you have an Enteric fever.

It's OUTDATED and no longer in use especially in developed countries.

If you have Malaria, your widal test would be Significant. Infact, any BLOOD RELATED INFECTION will still give a significant widal TITER & It’s one of the MAJOR REASONS why No developed country uses it anymore.

RECOMMENDED TESTS FOR INFECTIONS :
- Stool culture - Blood culture
- Urine culture - Bone marrow culture

:Typhoid fever is a bacteria infection, Malaria is a Parasitic infection ENTERIC fever is now popularly known as Typhoid fever because it was once believed to occur in the Intestines.

Both Typhoid Fever and Malaria usually share similar social circumstances which are imperative to their transmission. Therefore, a person living in such an environment is at risk of contracting both these diseases, either concurrently or an acute infection superimposed on a chronic one.

But just so you know, Malaria and Typhoid Fever don't have to ALWAYS come together.

You can have either of them and NOT necessarily both.

Get tested before treating anything.

Stop Abusing Drugs
Stop Antibiotics Abuse.

Never miss drugs as prescribed to prevent Malaria in pregnancy. NEVER!

Malaria can go from mother to baby through the placenta (womb).

Malaria can cause harm not only to the mother but also to her baby.
