International Day of the Boy Child: ACRI Celebrates with Children Worldwide

The Almajiri Child Rights Initiative, ACRI, marks the day in collaboration with Amnesty International, engaging in activities that amplify the voices and potential of boys and girls in Nigeria and beyond.

We’re proud to share that one of our boys secured 5th place in the Spoken Word Competition which is a testament to their growing confidence and talent.

Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mallam Jaafar Muhammad Kano, a retired headmaster and beloved educator, who returned to his Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

Until his final days, Mallam Jaafar was devoted to nurturing young minds, leading foundational literacy and numeracy for Almajiri children under ACRI, at Mallam Abubakar Tsangaya, Dei-Dei, Abuja.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, widen his grave, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
