Let’s talk about something simple that makes a BIG difference…. how you chew!

Did you know that chewing your food slowly can actually help your body digest better, reduce bloating, and even stop you from overeating?

When you eat too fast, your brain doesn’t get the signal that you’re full until it’s too late. But when you chew slowly, your body gets time to process and respond, helping you eat just the right amount.

So here’s a challenge for you:
At your next meal, try this…. put your fork down between bites and chew each bite at least 10–15 times.
You might be surprised how much better you feel after eating!

World Malaria Day 2025
ā€œMalaria Ends With Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reigniteā€

Every year, millions of people…. especially in Africa, are still affected by malaria. It’s one of the deadliest yet most preventable diseases. That’s why this year’s theme is a powerful reminder that the fight is far from over, and it starts with us.

So what does the theme mean?

1. Reinvest
We must put energy, attention, and resources back into proven solutions… like mosquito nets, clean environments, and fast testing. These things work, and we can’t afford to slow down.

2. Reimagine
The world has changed…. and so should our approach to malaria. We need new ideas, new tools, and smarter ways to reach people in every community.

3. Reignite
It’s time to light the fire again. We’ve made progress, but malaria is trying to come back strong. We need passion, awareness, and bold action to stop it in its tracks.

What can you do?
• Use and promote mosquito nets
• Keep your surroundings clean and mosquito-free
• Seek treatment early if you feel unwell
• Educate others, awareness saves lives
