Open letter to the Governor Alex Otti of Abia state
Your Excellency sir.. Greetings to you and your household... I'm writing you via this platform hoping it gets to you via your Aids or special advisers.. Base on the following reasons sir. First pertaining to the operation keep Abia clean , I saw a video of you sanitizing the people of Aba on cleanliness and making sure that Abia state is clean in general and it's something noteworthy,, to be emulated, I heard when you told them even if it's sweet or pure water sachet they shouldn't litter the roads rather keep them in their pockets when they arrive home to dispose it, now sir my question is.. Is it out of place or wrong for one to dispose such dirt inside the dust bin where they are situated across the state when one is driving or passing along and he or she sees a place designated to drop dirt's instead of littering the floor or tarred roads or even throwing it inside the gutters the person parks his or her vehicle,and dump the debris inside the container and continues his or her journey? Or must it be by 5pm -6 Am in the morning? Sir pls this needs to be looked into. Some person's live in remote areas where there are no dustbin container closer to them and when they get up in the morning getting ready for work and along the road they see a place where containers meant for dirt's are kept they decide to Park and drop their dirt's them Asepa Team will start pursuing them as if they're thieves or have done something wrong,, not as if the person dropped it on the floor but inside the container just because it's some minutes past 6 or 7 am and be dragging people dressed for work on their clothes that they should go to court.. pls sir this issue needs to be addressed and looked into.. like I said some of us are not living where dirt's containers are placed and can't meet up by 5am in the morning to go and drop dirt's ,,I think people should be allowed to always drop their refuse anytime of the day so far they are not throwing it on the floor.
Secondly your Excellency.. immediately you assumed office sir you assured us that Touts agberos and their likes are gone,, as a result you dualized the ishigate road of which it was a welcome development to curb the excesses of Keke napep riders and kekebus drivers who were creating nuisance on that place.. and you also created a taskforce By name Abia state Harmonized Task force. And they have been diligent with their work trying to make sure that the road is free of congestion and traffic.. you also stopped the illegal collection of tariffs and taxes from touts but created a forum where every Keke rider pays their daily ticket online.. and also their yearly emblem.. Now it has been observed that recently a group of people has formed a clique and has started collecting money again from Keke napep riders inside the ishigate park.. those who are even loyal of not creating nuisance on the road by picking passengers along the road or causing traffic congestion but who gently and diligently enters the park and calm load their passengers and go their respective routes,, I believe this order isn't from you sir.. so pls sir we will love you to look into this aspect to and find out the perpetrators of this act,, trying to spoil your good works and reputation in Abia state .. thanks 🙏 and God bless..
