-Here is the power of some objects that we use every day
We often think that rituals require rare or esoteric objects... But our ancestors knew: the most powerful tools are often the simplest. Here is a selection of everyday objects imbued with energetic and symbolic power, to use in your spiritual practice or hygiene:
🧹THE BROOM
→ It's not just for cleaning! It's an excellent purification tool. It's passed (without physically sweeping) in front of a door or a room to expel stagnant or negative energies.
🪞 THE MIRROR
→ It reflects energies. Used for protection, it can repel the evil eye or reflect an intention. It can also be used for divination (black mirror, for example).
🧂 SALT
→ A great purifier! Place it in the corners of a room, dissolve it in a bath, or scatter it around an object to be purified.
🔑 THE KEYS
→ Symbols of passage, opening, and unblocking. They can be worn to attract opportunities or used in a ritual to "open" paths.
🧵 NEEDLES, NAILS, OR PINS
→ Perfect for cutting or unblocking rituals. Handle with care and always with a clear intention.
🪮 THE HAIRBRUSH
→ It captures accumulated energies. A good cleansing or a releasing intention while brushing can calm the mind.
📖 THE NOTEBOOK
→ The modern grimoire. You can write down your intentions, dreams, emotions, or rituals in it. Writing is a magical act in itself.
🕯️ THE WHITE CANDLE
→ It replaces all other colors. It symbolizes peace, light, and truth. You can light it to invoke clarity or purify a space.
🍋 LEMON
→ It absorbs negative energies. Cut and placed in a room, it fades quickly if there are strong vibrations. Replace regularly.
🧺 LINEN AND CLOTHING
→ They retain the energy of the wearer. In magic, washing a garment can also purify its wearer. Intentions can also be sewn onto them (with red thread, for example).
🌿 WOODEN SPOON
→ Often used to "stir" intentions, potions, or even ritual infusions. The wood preserves memory.
💌 ENVELOPES/PAPERS
→ To write down your vows, intentions, or wishes. You can bury them, burn them, or keep them, depending on the ritual chosen.
You see, the good elements are already in your home. All it takes is a little awareness, intention, and a heart to try recipes or rituals.
BN: In our ancestral practices, you'll notice that some use simple dolls, needles, keys, braided threads, etc.
And you, what everyday object do you use for your rituals or your energetic well-being?
