HEALTH: Hypertension, Side Effects and Prevention Measures
High blood pressure is a disease that affects many people in this era, both men and women. This disease is diagnosed using a blood pressure monitor. If a person’s blood pressure is measured to be around 150/90 mm Hg, it can be concluded that he or she may be suffering from high blood pressure. However, it is necessary to take at least three (3) measurements on different occasions before confirming that a person has this disease.
High blood pressure can lead to serious problems such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease. People who are overweight are more likely to experience this problem.
1. Hawan Jini Na Farko (Essential Hypertension):
This type of high blood pressure is one for which the cause is unknown (only God knows), but there are certain factors that are associated with it. These are:
- Heredity (if parents or grandparents have high blood pressure).
- Smoking ci******es.
- Lack of peace of mind.
- Kiba.
1 How the Disease Occurs
High blood pressure causes narrowing of the blood vessels and small arteries, which can lead to blood clots and thrombosis. This problem prevents enough blood from reaching parts of the body, such as the brain, heart, or kidneys.
If blood pressure rises too high to 170/90 mm Hg, it can cause the arteries supplying blood to the brain to burst, which can lead to the death of a part of the body or the entire body.
