Appreciation to the NRCS Gombe Branch Secretary Alhaji Murtala Aliyu Aji

The entire team of players and volunteers of NRCS Gombe Branch wishes to express deep appreciation to the Branch Secretary for his exceptional commitment and support.

Today, the Branch Secretary demonstrated outstanding dedication by attending two important meetings simultaneously — the Gombe Division meeting at Bubayero Primary School, Gombe, and the Yamaltu Deba Division meeting at Difa Primary School.

In addition, he actively participated in the friendly football match between the Gombe Branch Football Team and Difa United Football Club, which ended in a goalless draw. Before the match, the Branch Secretary held a motivational session with the team and generously gave ₦2,000 each to 20 players, totaling ₦40,000.

Furthermore, he promised free registration for all players on the Gombe Branch Football Team and gave executive approval for the purchase of a new set of jerseys (JC) for the team.

The players and volunteers sincerely appreciate the Branch Secretary for his continuous hospitality, encouragement, and tireless service to all members of the branch.

NOTICE OF CONDOLENCE

The Nigerian Red Cross Society, Gombe State Branch, mourns the passing of Col. Abdullahi Bello (Rtd), one of our newly elected Governance Members and a serving Commissioner in the Gombe State Government.

Col. Talasse was a dedicated humanitarian, a committed leader, and a strong supporter of the Red Cross principles of humanity, impartiality, and service to others. His recent election into the Branch Governance signified his unwavering desire to contribute further to humanitarian service in Gombe State and beyond.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, the Government and people of Gombe State, and all who were privileged to know and work with him.

May the Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and comfort the bereaved family during this difficult time.
