Never feel Ashamed of who you are never feel compelled to fit in or to live up to any kind of societal standard, set a positive and good standard for yourself and by yourself because you can never satisfy people. The fastest lane to unhappiness and despair is trying to satisfy a subjective and inconsistent standard. Let your happiness come from within.

Never be impulsive, never make decisions based on emotions, most regrettable decisions are the ones made on impulse or under the influence of an emotion. Be slow and objective about making judgments about situations and people, it could greatly limit your mistakes.
