It was such a pleasure speaking with members of the Business Club of Airdrie and Area about my journey, platform, and vision for our city.

As an Airdrie business lawyer and City Council candidate, it was refreshing to meet so many passionate local business owners, learn about their work, and hear what kind of support they’d love to see from Council.

Airdrie, we've only had 4.9 per cent of our 60,000 eligible voters turn up at the Advance Vote to cast their ballot so far, and we need to do better in how we show up for our city!

Advance Vote is on today at City Hall until Oct. 17, from 6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. You can also vote at the Town and Country Centre on Oct. 16, from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

The city's future depends on your vote. It helps decide our new Mayor, Councillors and Public School Trustees.

Grateful for the Opportunity to Share

Thank you to the organizers of the Airdrie Mayor and Councillor Candidates Forum held at Kingdom City Church last Friday.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share my journey, express my heart for service, and listen to the voices of Airdrie residents about what matters most to them.

I remain committed to representing our community with fairness, compassion, and action.

This Thanksgiving, I pause to appreciate the strength of our Airdrie community, the neighbours who show up, the volunteers who give their time, and the residents who keep believing in a better city for all.
I’m also mindful of the challenges many face from healthcare access to safety and housing costs; and remain hopeful that, together, we can build solutions that last.

Grateful for everyone supporting this journey and for the chance to serve a community that truly cares.

Today is World Mental Health Day

Election season brings lots of conversations, signs, and debates. It’s exciting, but I know it can also feel a little overwhelming at times. Here are 3 simple ways to protect your peace while staying engaged:

1️⃣ Take breaks from social media. If it feels too noisy, it’s okay to step back.
2️⃣ Talk it out. Share your thoughts with friends, family, or neighbours; healthy conversations help ease stress.
3️⃣ Focus on what you can control. Casting your vote is the most powerful step you can take. Beyond that, give yourself permission to rest.

Your voice matters, and so does your well-being. Let’s look after both this season, Airdrie. 💙
