Natural Resources Laboratories (NARL), is a private organization established in 1980 with the objective of conducting research into the medicinal values of natural resources, particularly plants. Various findings from ethno-medicinal studies resulted in the documentation of many potent herbal preparations that have been prepared and used in clinical trials. NARL Health development foundation aka NAHRES foundation, a non Governmental organization was also registered in 2005 to help inform people about this findings through seminars and workshops. In the last sixteen years, several diseases that defile known drugs have been treated with high degree of success, they include: Hemorrhoids and anal prolapse; Diabetes; Hypertension and it’s complications of stroke; Ovarian cysts and Uterine fibroids in women; Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia in men, Tuberculosis, HIV and Cancer.
