It's another Glaucoma week. Glaucoma is responsible for blindness in about 150,000 to 200,000 Nigerians. It is painless, slowly progressive disease. Patients are unaware of the disease. Risk factors include age 40 years and above, positive family history of glaucoma, systemic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, myopia and use of steroids.
Glaucoma causes irreversible blindness.
Everybody above 40 years should have their eyes tested annually. Have u ?

Take a break!!
Nowadays all of us live in a hurry and have no time or even opportunity to rest or relax. Even a couple of coffee breaks with friends seems to look as a quick way to update information about their lives. Do you remember the last time you have sat in a pleasant atmosphere and switched off completely?

If you wish to cope with your everyday stress, you must learn how to evaluate your previous day thinking about all the situations happened. Until it happens, your negativity will increase day by day making you do something else. But not that what you wanted. You start to forget even about the tiniest trifles as it bothers you subconsciously. So find a 30-minute break for yourself, for work day rest. Take your favorite drink and try to switch off from all possible distractions. Avoid any disturbance and enjoy a silence.

It is the best way to have a rest after a busy working day and solve any arousing problems.
