Are sunglasses the best way to protect your eyes from the sun?

Well, dark shades don't necessarily mean your eyes are safe. Those shades only make it comfortable for you to see. UV-blocking agents are what block the sun's harmful rays, and protect your eyes. These UV-blocking agents can be added to clear prescription lenses also.

Be sure to confirm that the sunglasses you buy have the proper UV protection, NOT just dark shading.
