The Department of Statistics of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Nigeria, was established in year 2011 and accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to train students over a period of two (2) years, leading to the award of National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Statistics. Courses are well taught by professionals with a good practical skills by competent Technologists The Department is headed by Mrs AKANLE, Y.

Please tell someone you know or somebody that knows someone that vacancies still exist in Department of Statistics at FCAH&PT Ibadan for admission into the ND programme.
Like Computer Science, Statistics is a multi-disciplinary profession, meaning that as a Statistician you can work in any organization.

2015/2016 admission into National Diploma in Statistics now opens. If you chose Statistics at Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan, in the last UTME and scored from 150 above, please come with the following:
1. Passport photograph
2. Birth certificate
3. O'level result
4. JAMB UTME result
5. N3,000 (to be paid in bank)
Other interested candidates who sat for the last UTME but didn't choose the College can also apply.

O'Level Requirement:
Four credit level passes in the West African School Certificate, Senior Secondary School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary level and National Examination Council (NECO), TCII, NTC, in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include Mathematics and any three of the following: Statistics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, or Economics and a credit in English language is compulsory.

Hurry now. Post UTME screening exercise take place on Wednesday 23rd September, 2015.
