The IVSA-Ibadan: International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA) is an international student body organization comprising of veterinary medical students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. The association is aimed at raising the overall standard of veterinary education, providing opportunities for veterinary students to undertake education in important areas outside the traditional veterinary training, facilitating the student exchange, a principle of the international body, and also to increase the awareness of the functions and philosophy of veterinarians worldwide. Due to the pressing needs of our time and a need to broaden the scope of our knowledge imparted through veterinary education, the association has thus saddled herself with the responsibility of providing more academic social and procreative exposure to her members and veterinary students as a whole towards becoming a successful, well-grounded and balanced veterinary doctor.
