Over the past three days, there has been an increasing trend of complaints about insecurity in neighbourhoods within Lagos, Ogun and environs. Despite the lockdown, armed robbers have been reported to break into homes to dispossess innocent people of their valuables.

Putting this into consideration, staying safe has gone beyond social distancing by being indoors to taking measures to ensure that we do not fall prey to hoodlums. Here are some tips for you to keep in mind and act on during this period.

Avoid going out if not on essential duty. Should going out be inevitable, try to keep your movements restricted to daytime.
Keep vehicle doors locked at all times and avoid parking on the street if possible.
Be extra vigilant and immediately report unusual happenings around you to security agents.
Be mindful of social media posts and avoid including clues as to your location.
Check personally to ensure that all doors/gates are properly locked at night.
If you live in an estate, don’t sit on the sidelines. Be involved in community efforts to safeguard your neighbourhood and be aware of emergency situation protocols put in place.

Welcome To Agile Health Care Concept is a model residential treatment center for those suffering from major mental disorders such as Schizophrenia Bipolar Disorder and any Major Psychotic Illness.

Located in 5,Obileye Street FEMTOB SPECIALIST HOSPITAL BUILDING, G.R.A IJEBU ODE OGUN STATE NIGERIA maintains an age policy where the minimum age is 18, and the maximum age is at the discretion of the administration. The minimum stay is three months; the average length of stay is eight months; the maximum stay is two years. Most residents have had multiple diagnoses and have been previously hospitalized, some for 10 years or more. Many have a history of su***de attempts, and a history of substance abuse is common.

AGILE HEALTH CARE CONCEPT is a medical and an educational approach. Medicines and nutrients are prescribed by physicians. To complement medical treatment, the program requires a wholesome diet, daily exercise and the development of habits that will assist recovery and support continued good health. Because of the strong learning orientation, residents are referred to as students rather than patients.

The Agile Health Care Concept staff includes professionals with credentials in psychology, psychotherapy, social work, substance abuse counseling, and biochemistry. There are also teachers of nutrition, exercise, arts, crafts, dance, drama, writing, and literature. Orthomolecular physicians supervise the medical treatment of the students. A visiting nurse, a behavioral optometrist, a chiropractor, and an acupuncturist are also available.
