The centre was officially opened in 2006. It was established to attend to personal needs of Priests, Deacons, Religious Men, Women and Laity. Therefore, holistic development of the human person was envisioned, with commitment to unison and service in promoting holiness of life in Christ as indicated by the SSL Institute's General Chapter of 2003.
Originally, We currently have sufficient accommodation for over 150 persons.

-A quiet and stunning millieu conducive for prayers and reflection.
-2 Chapels (Big and Small)
-2 Dinning Rooms (Big and Medium)
- 2 Reception Halls
-2 Conference rooms (250-300 and 40-50 capacity)

Block A
- Thirty Eight (38) bedrooms
Block B
-Seventy Five (75) bedrooms (Single, Double, Executive and En- suites Rooms.
- Internet and photocopy
- A team of well qualified resource persons for retreats, days of recollection, spiritual direction, workshops and administration among others.
- A list of experts in various fields of Theology, Scripture, Catechetical, Spirituality, Canon Law and other relevant themes are available for workshops/ Conferences when needed.
The Centre also has:
- Confectionery
- Bakery and
- Kitchen
This was primarily birthed to provide meals for retreat members as well as a means of income generation through sales of products to the general public.
The Centre also run the following programs on request:
- Self awareness
- Youth program with Youths' chaplain
- Workshop for pastoral planning for parishes and societies in the church to help them to be inclusive of the youths in their programs and to be mission minded
- Supervision (Spiritual direction) for formators
- Retreats (Personal, Group, Guided, Directed, Preached)
- Renewal program for temporary processed religious.

- Counselling and Therapy
- Workshop for catechist, prayer leaders with their chaplain.
- Days of Recollection.
- Workshop on MBTI, Enneagram and Spirituality.
- Workshop on Leadership and Community Building (DELES applied)
