As a naturopath, my lifestyle aligns with natural healing and wellness. Here are five things I intentionally avoid for better health and well-being:
No Filthy Drinks
I stay away from beverages that contain excessive sugar, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and unhealthy additives. These drinks contribute to inflammation, metabolic disorders, and overall poor health. Instead, I opt for herbal teas, infused water, and fresh fruit juices that nourish the body.
No Deodorants with Harmful Chemicals
Many commercial deodorants contain aluminum, parabens, and synthetic fragrances that can be absorbed through the skin and disrupt the endocrine system. I choose natural alternatives like essential oils, and homemade deodorants that keep me fresh without exposing my body to toxins.
No Chemical Hair Relaxers or Hair Peels
Chemical relaxers and peels often contain harsh ingredients like lye and formaldehyde, which can damage the scalp, weaken hair follicles, and increase the risk of health issues. I embrace my natural hair and use plant-based treatments that nourish rather than harm.
No Mouthwash with Toxic Ingredients
Most commercial mouthwashes contain alcohol, artificial colors, and antibacterial agents that disrupt the oral microbiome, leading to long-term issues like dry mouth and gum irritation. Instead, I use natural alternatives like oil pulling with coconut oil, herbal rinses, and baking soda solutions to maintain fresh breath and oral health. everyonefollowme
