*WATER*
Water, the first pillar of a healthy lifestyle is the single most important nutrient for our bodies. It is involved in every function of our bodies.
The human body is about 70 percent water, the muscles are about 75 percent water, the brain cells are about 85 percent water, while the blood is approximately 82 percent water.
Although the body is made up of that much water, a lot of water is also lost from the body daily through perspiration, urination, and exhalation.
If you wait till you are thirsty to drink water, then you are most likely already dehydrated.
So many people kick start their day by reaching out for a cup of coffee or tea, soft drinks or sugar based drinks but rather than making them rehydrated such drinks actually steal water from their bodies, doing them more harm than good.
The body's cry for water could come in the forms of headaches, back pain, arthritis, skin problems, digestion problems as well as other ailments.
Drinking adequate quantity of clean water on a daily basis can help to keep the body well hydrated and therefore ensure that every tissues and organs of the body functions effectively and efficiently.
Dehydration robs from certain areas of the body to keep the brain, heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys well hydrated.
Many symptoms of diseases are the first sign of the body needing adequate amounts of water.
