HEARTH PAIN
Heart pain, often felt as chest pain, pressure, tightness, or discomfort, can be caused by many different conditions—some related directly to the heart, and others not. Here's a breakdown:

1. HEART~RELATED CAUSES:
A. Angina:
- Caused by reduced blood flow to the heart muscle due to narrowed arteries.
- Feels like pressure or squeezing in the chest.
- Triggered by exercise, stress, or cold weather.
B. Heart Attack (Myocardial Infarction)
- Caused by a blocked artery that stops blood flow to the heart.
- Pain is intense, crushing, may spread to arm, jaw, or back.
- Usually lasts longer than angina and isn’t relieved by rest.
C. Pericarditis:
- Inflammation of the lining around the heart (pericardium).
- Sharp chest pain that may worsen when lying down or breathing deeply.
D. Myocarditis:
- Inflammation of the heart muscle, often from viral infections.
- Pain may feel like a heart attack but without blockage.
E. Cardiomyopathy:
- Disease of the heart muscle.
- Causes fatigue, shortness of breath, and chest discomfort.

2. NON-HEART-RELATED CAUSES THAT MIMIC HEART PAIN:
A. Acid Reflux (GERD):
- Stomach acid rising into the esophagus.
- Burning chest pain (heartburn) after eating or lying down.
B. Muscle Strain:
- Overuse or injury to chest muscles.
- Localized pain that worsens with movement or pressing on the chest.
C. Anxiety or Panic Attacks:
- Sharp or dull chest pain, often with fast heartbeat, dizziness, sweating, and fear.
- Common during stress or emotional shock.
D. Lung Issues:
- Pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs), pneumonia, or collapsed lung can cause sudden sharp chest pain and shortness of breath.
E. Costochondritis:
- Inflammation of cartilage in the chest wall.
- Pain worsens with movement or touching the area.

WHAT IT MEANS WHEN PAIN RADIATES:
If heart pain radiates to the arm, jaw, neck, or back, it is a strong warning sign of a possible heart attack (also called myocardial infarction). This kind of pain usually means that a part of the heart muscle is not getting enough oxygen, often due to a blocked artery.
INDICATIONS:
👇👇👇👇
1. Arm Pain (usually the left arm)
- The heart shares nerve pathways with the left arm.
- Pain or numbness in the left arm—especially with chest pain—can indicate a heart attack.
2. Jaw Pain
- Often felt in the lower jaw and may feel like a toothache.
- Common in women during heart attacks.
3. Neck and Throat Pain
- Pain or pressure moving up to the neck may signal heart strain or poor blood flow.
4. Upper Back or Shoulder Blade Pain
- This can happen when heart pain is referred through the nervous system.
- May feel like tightness or aching in the back.

WHAT MAY HAPPEN IF IGNORED:
👇👇👇👇
- Heart Muscle Damage:
Without urgent care, parts of the heart muscle can die.
- Arrhythmias:
Irregular heartbeat, which can be life-threatening.
- Heart Failure:
The heart may become too weak to pump blood effectively.
- Sudden Death:
In severe cases, the heart may stop beating (cardiac arrest).
