If I could convert the number of times I’ve heard slim people say “Do you want me to disappear “, anytime I ask them to workout or waist train, I’d be a billionaire by now😩

There just seems to be this misconception that it’s only people who need to shed weight that should work out.
While I don’t argue that working out can be a good complement to your weight loss efforts, it is not necessarily important that you must exercise to shed weight. Weight loss is 80% of what you eat.
If you can eat in a deficit then you can definitely lose weight regardless of whether you exercise or not.

For me, exercise plays a much more important role than just a weight loss tool.

Exercise helps me stay physically fit and mentally alert.
Exercise helps me get over stress and worries. And believe me, there are a lot of stress points, especially in a country such as ours 😩
Exercise helps me maintain healthy joints. How many of you in your 40s upwards can still do a squat?😃
Exercise helps me tone my muscles. And keeps me looking and feeling fit like folks 10-20 years younger than me🤪
Exercise aids digestion. No jokes😊
Health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, etc can be better managed with regular exercise

I can go on and on and on.

The next time someone invites you to the gym or asks you to incorporate a regular workout routine into your lifestyle please remember this post and don’t rebuff them.

Did you know that protein is filling?

Yes, it is!

After a protein meal, you feel satiated and your cravings for “bad food” reduces which means you can eat fewer calories, which also means, losing weight is easier and achievable.

Ofcourse if you want to build muscles you should also increase your protein intake.

So ”beef” up your protein intake today😁

Have a corner in your office where you’re able to stand and work for a while instead of sitting all day!
Consistent, tiny changes, adds up eventually!!

My recommendation:

1. Start eating at a caloric deficit
2. Exercise
3. Waistline
