Have you heard of Cochlear Implant???

Do you know what Cochlear Implant Surgery is???

Cochlear implant surgery is a procedure where an internal receiver and an electrode array are surgically placed to help people with severe to profound hearing loss perceive sound.

A surgeon makes an incision behind the ear, creates a channel in the mastoid bone, and inserts the electrode into the inner ear's cochlea. After the incision heals, an external device is attached and programmed to activate the implant. This is different from hearing aids.
