Once upon a time, in a small town in Ikorodu, a couple named Mr. and Mrs. Komolafe lived. They had been married for five long years, hoping and praying for the day they would be blessed with children. The journey was filled with countless visits to doctors and the emotional roller coaster of fertility treatments. But faith kept them going, believing that in due time, they would become parents.
One fateful day, a twist of fate brought Mrs. Komolafe face-to-face with her former school sweetheart, Barrister Tola, who had now become a lawyer. Unexpectedly, a spark ignited between them, and Mrs. Komolafe found herself pregnant that very month. Back home, Mr Komolafe was overjoyed, thinking that God had finally answered their prayers. The joy in their household knew no bounds when Mrs Komolafe gave birth to twin boys, whom they named Taiye and Kehinde. The family promptly headed to the church for a heartwarming Thanksgiving.
Mr. Komolafe, in his delight, showered his wife with gifts, including a brand-new car, to express his gratitude. But as time passed, something changed within Mrs. Komolafe. She started behaving erratically, showing disrespect towards her husband. Her words became cryptic and laced with innuendo, implying that Mr. Komolafe might not be the father of their children.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Mrs. Komolafe was still having secret encounters with her former lover, Barrister Tola, who was pressuring her to leave her husband and marry him instead. He strongly suspected that he might be the true father of the twins. As the tension grew, Mrs. Komolafe used every opportunity to provoke her husband, pushing him to his breaking point. The magistrate overseeing the case wisely ordered a DNA test to definitively determine the twins' paternity. Both parties and their lawyers were sent to the DNA Centre for Paternity Tests, where the truth would finally be revealed.

Mrs Komolafe continued her disrespectful behaviour towards her husband and did not allow him to touch the children he had raised for seven years. After several anxious days, they returned to the centre, accompanied by a court-appointed representative, to receive the results before they were submitted to the court.
