It is important we surprise our seniors with gift time to time, as a way of showing love and appreciation.
Whether it’s for a birthday, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, or just to show them love.
Shopping to find the perfect gift for your older parents or grandparents can be tricky.
However, we need to first figure out the following situations while Shopping for a present for our aged loved ones,
* Identify their current health condition.

* Identify the most needed items that can help to fast track recovery.

* Identify the best gift they desire most.

* Identify the occasion.

* Identify hobbies & best colours.

*Types of gifts that can be presented to seniors*

The following are the types of gifts that we can present to our seniors living at home or in a Nursing home.
*Food*: this is most essential in caring for older people. They need food to remain strong and healthy.
*Wears*: things like, dresses, shoes, wristwatches, jewelries etc. These items is important especially to those fashionable ones. You gift it to them even when they don't have where to wear them to.
*Cash*: old people like to have cash of their own even when they buy nothing with it. Most atimes, this cash is been gifted out by them to children/less privileged people who come visiting them.
*Visitation*: visit them to spend a memorable time with them. This aspect is often neglected especially by the working class who's paying the bills, it's important to know that your efforts are appreciated but, your visit we do more magic.
*Letters/special messages*: write a letter or message letting them know how much you care, your favorite qualities about them and you look forward to spoiling them.
*Pay their hospital bill*: This is one of the most important presents we can offer to the old people around us. We can settle the Bill of the care givers, hospital or pay their health insurance premium. All these will be a great relief to them and accelerate recovery.
*Flowers, Teddy bear, pets*: these also can help them in soft exercise needed on daily basis.
*Books and Games*: for those literate and educated, it's very helpful to gift them Books, New papers, Journals, Ayo, Ludo etc.
*Technology devices*: This is another important gift we can buy for elderly people. Devices like a phone, electronic games, Digital Photo book with loads of memorial pictures etc.
*Musical instruments or devices* these are also very good gifts that we can be present to our old people. Music can be used to revive life especially the sweet ones. Even if it's just a radio we play for seniors, it can perform wonders in getting them to recover from memory loss and some health conditions.
Giving a meaningful gift with these simple yet personal ways to show your love and appreciation will go a long way in helping our older Loved ones live a good memorable life.
