Is Oatmeal Good for Diabetes?

The whole grain can help improve blood sugar control. Here's how to create the perfect bowl.
Oatmeal is a classic breakfast—and if you have diabetes, there's no reason to hesitate before sitting down to a steaming bowl of oats in the morning. In fact, it's truly one of the best breakfasts for people with diabetes.

Need some proof? A meta-analysis that analyzed 16 studies (including 14 controlled trials) on type 2 diabetes patients concluded that, compared to control groups, including oats in your diet helped reduce A1C, fasting blood glucose, and total and ("bad") LDL cholesterol levels in people with type 2 diabetes, per results published in the journal Nutrients in 2015. The healthy properties of oats are largely credited to a unique type of fiber, called beta-glucan, which slows digestion and boosts satiety. Oats also supply magnesium, a mineral the authors note plays a role in the metabolism of glucose and insulin.
"One of the main focuses [in treating] diabetes and heart disease is to decrease inflammation. Oats (specifically oat bran and oatmeal) is a wholesome, high-fiber grain that has positive effects on not only lowering LDL cholesterol, but also decreasing blood sugar spikes—and thus inflammation—in the body,".
People who have diabetes can enjoy all of the foods they love, perhaps with some modifications. Oatmeal is a healthy, fiber-rich carbohydrate that makes a great breakfast when you have diabetes. Using all the tips above, you can build a healthier bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. Try steel-cut oats made with unsweetened almond milk, topped with crushed peanuts and coconut flakes, or choose other flavors you love. Enjoy these healthy Oatmeal Pancakes.....

What causes heart block?
Heart block has many causes. Some people are born with the disorder (conge***al), but others develop it during their lifetimes (acquired).

Conge***al Heart Block

People who have these infections make proteins called antibodies which attack and damage the body's tissues or cells.

(The placenta is the organ that attaches the umbilical cable into mom's uterus ) These proteins may harm the infant's heart and result in premature heart problems.

Conge***al heart defects can also result in conge***al heart attack. These defects are issues with one's center's structure that are present at birth. Many times, doctors have no idea what causes such flaws.

Acquired Heart Block

Many factors could cause acquired heart problems. Examples include:

Harm to the heart from a heart attack. This really may be actually the usual cause of acquired heart cube.

Coronary heart disorder also called coronary artery disease.

Heart collapse.

Rheumatic fever.

Cardiomyopathy, or heart muscle diseases.

Other diseases may possibly raise the risk of heart block.

Specific kinds of operation also may damage the heart's electric system and lead to heart block.

Experience of toxic substances and carrying certain medicines--including digitalis, beta blockers, and calcium channel blockers--additionally may cause heart block. Doctors closely watch those who are taking these drugs for signs of issues.

Some kinds of heart block have been associated with genetic mutations (changes from the genes).

An overly active vagus nerve also may lead to heart block. You have one vagus nerve on both sides of your body. These nerves run from your mind stem all the way to your gut. Activity at the vagus nerve slows the heartbeat.

In some cases, acquired heart block may move away if the factor resulting in it really is solved or treated. By way of instance, heart block that does occur after having a heart attack or surgery can go away during retrieval.

In addition, if a medication is causing heart block, the disorder may disappear if the medicine is stopped or the dosage is lowered. Always speak with your health care provider before changing how you choose your own medicines.

What spice cures diabetes type 2?

Diabetes is a major health issue nowadays, with the unhealthy diets and sedentary lifestyle. For diabetics, a healthy diet is quintessential and any untoward spike in blood sugar is potentially fatal. Along with foods, there are some spices that may help regulate blood sugar levels. Here are some spices that cure type 2 diabetes.

1. Turmeric (Haldi)

As per a study published in the journal Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, the active compound in turmeric called curcumin may help decrease the level of glucose in blood, further reducing diabetes-related complications.

2. Cloves (Laung)

Cloves have antiseptic as well as germicidal properties. Moreover, they offer anti-inflammatory, analgesic and digestive health benefits for diabetes. Cloves also help keep your blood sugar levels in check and are known to promote insulin production, further controlling diabetes.

3. Garlic (Lehsun)

According to a study published in the journal Phytomedicine, consumption of garlic increased the serum insulin in diabetic rats. So make sure you are adding enough garlic in your daily diet.

4. Cinnamon (Dalchini)

Cinnamon is an antioxidant that's been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and reduce fasting blood sugars. In fact, according to a study published in the International Journal of Molecular Science, cinnamon has the ability to improve insulin sensitivity. Drink cinnamon tea to stay healthy.

7 Foods to Avoid When Trying to Lose Weight {Especially Number 3 will surprise you}

The foods you eat can have a major effect on your weight.

Some foods, like full-fat yogurt, coconut oil and eggs, help with weight loss.

Other foods, especially processed and refined products, can make you gain weight.

Here are 7 foods to avoid when you’re trying to lose weight...
1. French Fries and Potato Chips
Whole potatoes are healthy and filling, but french fries and potato chips are not. They are very high in calories, and it’s easy to eat way too many of them.

What’s more, baked, roasted or fried potatoes may contain cancer-causing substances called acrylamides. Therefore, it’s best to eat plain, boiled potatoes.

French fries and potato chips are unhealthy and fattening. On the other hand, whole, boiled potatoes are very healthy and help fill you up.

2. Sugary Drinks
Sugar-sweetened beverages, like soda, are one of the unhealthiest foods on the planet.

They are strongly associated with weight gain and can have disastrous health effects when consumed in excess.

Even though sugary drinks contain a lot of calories, your brain doesn’t register them like solid food.
If you are serious about losing weight, consider giving up sugary drinks completely.

Sugary drinks can negatively affect your weight and general health. If weight loss is your goal, then giving up soda and similar drinks may have a big impact.

3. White Bread
White bread is highly refined and often contains a lot of added sugar.

It is high on the glycemic index and can spike your blood sugar levels.

One study of 9,267 people found that eating two slices (120 grams) of white bread per day was linked to a 40% greater risk of weight gain and obesity.
White bread is made from very fine flour, and can spike your blood sugar levels and lead to overeating. However, there are many other types of bread you can eat.

4. Pastries, Cookies and Cakes
Pastries, cookies and cakes are packed with unhealthy ingredients like added sugar and refined flour.

They may also contain artificial trans fats, which are very harmful and linked to many diseases.

Pastries, cookies and cakes are not very satisfying, and you will likely become hungry very quickly after eating these high-calorie, low-nutrient foods.

If you’re craving something sweet, reach for a piece of dark chocolate instead.

Pastries, cookies and cakes often contain large amounts of added sugar, refined flour and sometimes trans fat. These foods are high in calories but not very filling.

5. Some Types of Alcohol (Especially Beer)
Alcohol provides more calories than carbs and protein, or about 7 calories per gram.

However, the evidence for alcohol and weight gain is not clear.

Drinking alcohol in moderation seems to be fine and is actually linked to reduced weight gain. Heavy drinking, on the other hand, is associated with increased weight gain.
If you are trying to lose weight, you may want to consider cutting back on alcohol or skipping it altogether. Wine in small amounts seems to be fine.

The type of alcohol also matters. Beer can cause weight gain, but drinking wine in moderation may actually be beneficial.

6. Ice Cream
Ice cream is incredibly delicious, but very unhealthy. It is high in calories, and most types are loaded with sugar.

A small portion of ice cream is fine every now and then, but the problem is that it’s very easy to consume massive amounts in one sitting.

Consider making your own ice cream, using less sugar and healthier ingredients like full-fat yogurt and fruit.

Also, serve yourself a small portion and put the ice cream away so that you won’t end up eating too much.

Store-bought ice cream is high in sugar, and homemade ice cream is a better alternative. Remember to be mindful of portions, as it’s very easy to eat too much ice cream.

7. Pizza
Pizza is a very popular fast food. However, commercially made pizzas also happen to be very unhealthy.

They’re extremely high in calories and often contain unhealthy ingredients like highly refined flour and processed meat.

If you want to enjoy a slice of pizza, try making one at home using healthier ingredients. Homemade pizza sauce is also healthier, since supermarket varieties can contain lots of sugar.

Commercial pizzas are often made from highly refined and processed ingredients. A homemade pizza with healthier ingredients is a much better option.

Causes of va**nal itching:
Here some of the possible causes for itchiness of the va**na and the surrounding area.

1. Irritants
Exposing the va**na to irritating chemicals can cause va**nal itching. These irritants may trigger an allergic reaction that creates an itchy rash over various areas of the body, including the va**na. Common chemical irritants include:

soap
bubble baths
feminine sprays
douches
topical contraceptives
creams
ointments
detergents
fabric softeners
scented toilet paper
If you have diabetes or urinary incontinence, your urine may also cause va**nal irritation and itching.

2. Skin diseases
Some skin diseases, such as eczema and psoriasis, can cause redness and itching in the ge***al region.

Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a rash that primarily occurs in people with asthma or allergies. The rash is reddish and itchy with a scaly texture. It may spread to the va**na in some women with eczema.

Psoriasis is a common skin condition that causes scaly, itchy, red patches to form along the scalp and joints. At times, outbreaks of these symptoms can occur on the va**na as well.

3. Menopause
Women who are going through menopause or who have already done so are more at risk for va**nal itching.

This is due to the reduction of estrogen levels that occur during menopause, which leads to va**nal atrophy. This is a thinning of the mucosa that can lead to excessive dryness. The dryness can cause itching and irritation if you don’t get treatment for it.

4. Stress
Physical and emotional stress can cause va**nal itching and irritation, though this isn’t very common. It might occur when stress weakens your immune system, leaving you more prone to the infections that cause itching.

5. Vulvar cancer
In rare cases, va**nal itching may be a symptom of v***ar cancer. This is a type of cancer that develops in the v***a, which is the external part of the female’s ge***als. It includes the inner and outer lips of the va**na, the cl****is, and the opening of the va**na.

Vulvar cancer may not always cause symptoms. However, when symptoms do occur, they may include itching, abnormal bleeding, or pain in the v***ar area.

6. Yeast infection
Yeast is a naturally occurring fungus that’s normally present in the va**na. It usually doesn’t cause problems, but when its growth goes unchecked, an uncomfortable infection can result.

This infection is known as a va**nal yeast infection. It’s a very common condition, affecting 3 out of 4 women at some point in their lives.

The infection often occurs after taking a course of antibiotics, as these types of medications can destroy good bacteria along with the bad bacteria. The good bacteria are needed to keep yeast growth in check.

The overgrowth of yeast in the va**na can result in uncomfortable symptoms, including itching, burning, and lumpy discharge.

7. Bacterial vaginosis
Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is another common reason for va**nal itching.

Like a va**nal yeast infection, BV is triggered by an imbalance between naturally occurring good and bad bacteria in the va**na.

The condition doesn’t always cause symptoms. When symptoms do appear, they typically include va**nal itching and an abnormal, foul-smelling discharge. The discharge may be thin and dull gray or white. In some cases, it might also be foamy.

1. Pain and tenderness in the upper back and sides
chills
2. Fever
