Cervical cancer is preventable, but poor access to prevention, screening & treatment contributes to 90% of the deaths.

We have the tools and approaches to eliminate it and we must all play our part.

Unik Impact Foundation Enrolls 50 Orphans In School

Gidauniyar Unik Impact Ta Sanya Marayu 50 A Makaranta

The Unik Impact Foundation has enrolled fifty orphans (50) into Zainab Ibn Jahash Primary School and gave fifty (50) others instructional materials on Sunday, the 26th of December, 2022.

Zainab Bintu Jahash is a community effort under the guardianship of the JIBWIS mosque in Anku, Hadeja to provide qualitative basic education (in both its religious and secular dimensions) to the weakest amongst them.

This no doubt is one of the most impactful of our programs for two reasons. First it specifically targeted the education and future of the most vulnerable group in our society; child orphans. Secondly because there is no better legacy to the name of our late patriach (Mallam Muhammad Adamu Unik), who died exactly two years ago today and whose IMPACTS in our lives the Foundation immortalises than educating the weak; two causes he was well known and respected for.

We urge everyone to join us in prayers in our burning desire and lofty ambitions to produce future intellectuals, inventors, scientists, doctors and lawyers out of these innocent faces.

The highest point for me was learning that the father of one of the orphans was the generous health supretendant who gave all the community kids (including myself) free chloroquine shots whenever we were down with malaria

Wannan tabbas na d'aya daga cikin aikace aikacen mu ma su tasiri saboda dalilai biyu. Na farko shine domin ya danganci ilmi da kuma goben wad'anda su ka fi kowa rauni a cikin mu; wato marayu. Na biyu kuwa shine domin babu wani abu da za mu yi da sunan marigayi mahaifinmu (Mallam Muhammadu Adamu Unik) a dai dai lokacin da ya cika shekaru biyu cif cif da rasuwa, wanda kuma tasirinsa ne a rayuwarmu Gidauniyar ke k'ok'arin tabbattarwa da ya wuce ba maras k'arfi ilmi; abubuwa biyu da kowa ya san Mallam da su ya ke kuma girmamashi saboda su.

Muna barar addu'o'inku domin cimma burin mu na ganin mun k'ink'ishi fitattun ma su ilmi, da k'irk'ire, da masana kimiyya, da likitoci da kuma lauyoyin gobe dukka daga cikin wad'annan yara.

Abun da ya fi jan hankalina a taron shine ganewa da na yi cewa mahaifin d'aya daga cikin yaran ma'aikacin lafiya ne da ke ba mu alluran chloroquine k'yauta idan mu na malaria a lokacin ya na raye mu kuma muna yara.
